Chapter 127: Full of Food
"Master Xun, do you know where they settled?" someone asked.
"I'm not sure about that. But the road to the town collapsed, and they're stranded here. They should be not far away."
"How about we go look for it?"
"It might not be possible today. It's getting late. How about waiting until tomorrow? If they're heading towards town, they'll definitely pass by. We can wait by the roadside then and we should be able to catch them."
"That's fine too."
The villagers agreed to go there when the road was open, and then went back home.
After Yue Fuli and his group left the village, they went to the landslide site to take a look. They found that government officials were already clearing the area, and if there were no accidents, they would be able to pass through the next day.

That lady and her son did come from the capital, and they arrived just thirteen days ago. As soon as they arrived, they bought that courtyard on the roadside and have been living in seclusion ever since."
"Why do you think they would come all the way from the capital and buy such a courtyard?"
Hu Wei hadn't thought much about it at first, but after hearing Yue Fuli's words, his heart skipped a beat and he asked, "Miss Yue, are they coming for us?"
"Nine out of ten. Otherwise, why would you stay in the capital and come here to buy a house like this? You've got nothing better to do."
"If we had known they were from the capital, we shouldn't have rescued them."

Hu Wei thought so too. It was just their speculation. What if the other party really had nothing better to do and came to the countryside to buy a house?
