"Lingling loves mother very much too." Lingling said as she snuggled into Qi Yuning's arms.
Lingling heard Lu Ze's chuckle and added, "And Daddy, Lingling loves you very much too."
Seeing that it was getting dark outside, Lu Ze said to Qi Yuning and Lingling, "I have to go."
Lingling took Lu Ze's hand and said, "Why is Daddy leaving? Daddy, please stay here!"
Qi Yuning looked at Lu Ze and said, "Don't leave. If she cries at night, I'll have to carry her to you."
Lingling hugged Lu Ze's arm tightly and said, "Daddy, let's sleep together!"
Lu Ze said, "Okay."
Lingling contentedly slept between Qi Yuning and Lu Ze. She looked at Qi Yuning and then at Lu Ze, unwilling to fall asleep, fearing that if she fell asleep, the two of them would be gone.
Seeing Lingling's little appearance, Qi Yuning said to her, "Don't worry, Daddy and Mommy won't leave."
Only then did Lingling close her eyes obediently.
After a good night's sleep, Qi Yuning was awakened by the noise beside him.

Lu Ze said, "Next to you."

Lu Ze looked at Qi Yuning reluctantly before leaving.
After Lu Ze left, Qi Yuning didn't sleep anymore. She got up, washed up, and took care of some accounts while Lingling was still asleep. When Lingling woke up, she could take her out to play.
At noon, Lingling had just woken up and the maid was helping her dress when Lu Baozhu came in looking extremely angry.
