The marriage of Prince Lu and Princess Qi was a great joyous event in Shengjing City. Both sides were filled with people watching the fun, and many people also sent their children to ask for candy and share in the joy.
Princess Pingrou had already ordered her subordinates to prepare wedding cakes, wedding money and wedding candies. When she met people coming to watch the fun along the way, she would distribute wedding cakes, wedding candies and scatter wedding money to join in the fun.

This was not the first time that Qi Yuning came to Lu Ze's courtyard and his house, but there were many differences today. The bed had been changed. It was a new bed that Qi Yuning had prepared as a dowry. Fortunately, she had people make many beds, so she could have a new bed for this third marriage.
There were wedding characters posted inside the house, and even though it was still dusk, big red wedding candles were already lit.
The bridesmaid took a pair of scissors and cut a few strands of Qi Yuning's hair. She was about to cut Lu Ze's hair. Lu Ze asked Deqing to wait outside, took off his wig, and let the bridesmaid cut his short hair, which was about an inch long.
The matchmaker tied the two women's hair into a knot, put it in a purse, said a lot of happy words, then put the purse into a wooden box and buried it under a peach tree in the yard.
Qi Yuning chuckled when she saw Lu Ze with short hair, and reached out to touch Lu Ze's short hair. "I forgot that your hair is still so short!"
But don’t say it, Lu Ze with short hair is just as handsome as Lu Ze with long hair, and his facial features are even sharper.
Lu Ze's peach blossom eyes dimmed slightly. He held Qi Yuning's hand, coughed, and said, "You haven't eaten for a whole day. Eat something first. I have to toast the guests later."

Lu Ze looked at Qi Yuning's red lips stained with wine, and asked the maids to leave. Only he and Qi Yuning were left in the huge room.
