Extra Chapter 17: Lin Lang's Death (Part 2)

"Lin Shi, what do you mean?" When several directors and shareholders saw Lin Shi, they knew who was behind this.

Relying on the long-term ties between their interests and those of the Lin family and their seniority, even if Mr. Lin were still alive, he would have to give them some face. In the past two years, these people have been bullying the company.

Previously, the two leaders of the Lin family were fighting for power, and they tacitly adopted a soft attitude towards them, which also encouraged their arrogance.

Look, even though they knew they had wronged Lin Lang when they saw Lin Shi, no one admitted it. Instead, they started yelling at Lin Shi.

Lin Lang, who had calmed down at this moment, sneered at the sight.

On this point, his attitude is the most similar to Lin Shi's. No matter who the final winner is, the first ones to be dealt with will be these old guys.

Lin Lang walked at the end of everyone, followed by Uncle Lu himself.

He had learned to read people's expressions from the old man since he was a child, so he was particularly sensible and didn't cause any trouble.

Instead, he simply ignored the boastful noise, raised his head and looked straight at the two people who had already sat down at the dining table.

He wanted to figure out from Lin Shi and Yan Xianjue's expressions and body movements what the purpose of these two people going around in such a big circle was.

The person that everyone thought was the least cooperative finally sat in his seat.

The other directors also gradually fell silent under the threat of Lin Shi's eyes.

After the deck was quiet again, Lin Shi slowly smiled. "I heard that my uncle paid for a cruise. Yan Xianjue and I are here uninvited. I hope you don't mind?"

Lin Lang rolled his eyes upon hearing his high-sounding words, and couldn't help but complain in his heart, saying that it sounded as if if he cared, they would behave themselves.

Yan Xianjue's hand, which was about to pick up the chopsticks, paused.

He thought that he and Yan Ci were already telling lies with their eyes open at home, but he didn't expect that Lin Shi was even more important.

When you think about it, it seems reasonable.

So he picked up his chopsticks with peace of mind and prepared to start eating.

He hadn't eaten much on the cruise and was a little hungry now.

It must be said that Lin Lang is willing to spend money to invite people out. In the past two years, Lin Lang has organized many large and small entertainment parties. Otherwise, he would not have been able to invite these old guys who value their lives so much out so easily.

Lin Shi was practicing Tai Chi with several shareholders, while Yan Xianjue was chewing and nodding with satisfaction from time to time. The chef chosen by Lin Langding was very much to his taste.

While he was thinking about it, the conversation between the other people at the table seemed to be going badly. An irritable shareholder immediately grabbed the plate in front of him and threw it into the middle of the table.

Yan Xianjue's brows suddenly furrowed with his chopsticks still in the air.

The shareholder, whose figure was as thin as a steamed bun, shuddered at his gaze, but he didn't give in. Instead, he forced himself to ask, "Does Chairman Yan know that Mr. Yan is engaging in such banditry?"

Yan Xianjue said calmly, "This is not the main point today, so please don't bother with it."

As he said this, he put down his chopsticks, picked up a handkerchief from the tray in Uncle Lu's hand, who had stood behind him at some point, and wiped his hands carefully.

The next second, which no one expected, Yan Xianjue took out an inconspicuous pistol from his pocket and shot the shareholder at the arm that had just smashed the plate.

"Ah!" The man screamed in pain belatedly.

The other people's eyes suddenly became panicked, and one of them seemed to want to step back and avoid it, and even knocked over his chair.

Yan Xianjue spoke at this time: "I hate people who waste food in front of me the most."

"You...what on earth do you want to do?!" one of them said in a trembling voice.

Lin Shi gently wiped the blood that had just splashed on his face with his fingertips, grinned and said, "Didn't I just say that I want to buy out the shares held by everyone?"

The shareholders' eyes fell on Lin Lang, who had been invisible for a long time. Lin Lang finally figured out what these two people were trying to do by making such a big fuss.

Lin Lang laughed. These people were watching what he was doing now. He loved money but he would not risk his life to confront Lin Shi head-on when the other party had a gun and didn't mind shooting.

The two had been fighting for two years, and Lin Lang thought he had some understanding of Lin Shi. Lin Shi had a lot of evidence that could put him in jail, and of course he had a lot too, but both of them tacitly agreed not to disclose it.

At this moment, he didn't think Lin Shi would really shoot him to death.

In just a few seconds, he figured out how to deal with it. He said calmly, "Okay."

The shareholders' eyes widened in disbelief: "Boss Lin?"

Lin Lang looked at them with amusement: "You're almost losing your life, yet you're still thinking about holding onto a hen that lays eggs?"

It now seems that Lin Shi has found an ally for himself, and the Yan family is also interested in this hen.

Lin Lang recalled what the old man often said, that the Yan family was the Lin family's biggest enemy, and silently said in his heart that it was indeed so. However, the old man probably didn't expect that the one who helped the Yan family open the city gate was his eldest grandson, whom he had personally supported.

"But the price you just mentioned is a bit too much. 10% off the market price. Lin Shi, is this how you usually negotiate business outside?"

Yan Xianjue fired again.

The bullet directly pierced Lin Lang's spleen, causing him to fall backwards.

The sharp screams pierced the eardrums of Lin Shi and Yan Xianjue again. Yan Xianjue's attack this time made them even more frightened than the last time.

Their faces turned pale as they looked at the two people who were still sitting upright at the messy dining table. Now everyone could be sure that the two had no intention of reconciling today.

Several shareholders who had just been looking at Lin Lang withdrew their gazes and calculated in their minds the price they could afford.

The shot that Yan Xianjue fired just now had clearly told them that he would not accept bargaining. The previous smart-alecky guy was still lying there dying.

Lin Lang covered his wound, which was bleeding continuously, with one hand. His nose was filled with the strong and sticky smell of blood. He had never realized so clearly that it was his own blood flowing out.

His eyes were filled with panic and disbelief. He spoke in a low voice as if using all his strength: "Save me..."

"Killing people on the high seas is also illegal, Mr. Yan, Mr. Yan..." One of the shareholders spoke in a trembling voice.

It wasn't that he wanted to be the first to speak out, but he had to speak up when he thought about the trouble that would be caused if Lin Lang really died here.

Lin Shi sneered, stood up, walked over to Lin Lang, squatted down, and pretended to touch his neck: "Killing? He's still alive."
