Jiang Xinrou looked up and smiled at him, "Thank you, I'm fine."
As she spoke, her gaze fell on his face, and she feigned surprise, saying, "You're the young master of the Gu family, aren't you?"
"You know me?"
Jiang Xinrou smiled slightly and took out a business card from her hand: "I am Wang Jingxian. You should have met me before, right? I have a collaboration I'd like to discuss with you. Are you free tonight?"
Gu Shifan's eyes showed suspicion: "This isn't the place to talk about work, is it?"
Jiang Xinrou said it didn't matter: "It's okay. I was going to have my assistant contact you, but I bumped into you while I was at the hospital with a friend, so I just told you."
Gu Shifan's face showed hesitation.
A sinister glint flashed in Jiang Xinrou's eyes, but she quickly smiled and said, "Don't overthink it. This is my father's idea. Our Wang family's newly developed medicine urgently needs a distribution channel, so my father wants to cooperate with the Gu family. I heard that you are now in charge of the Gu family. If you think it's okay, we'll meet at nine o'clock tonight."
As she spoke, she handed him a slip of paper with the location written on it.
"Is it...is it to talk to President Wang?"
"Of course I talked to my dad. Who else would you talk to? I'm known for not getting involved in anything, so I don't know anything about work." Jiang Xinrou's smile held a deeper meaning.
Gu Shifan didn't think much of it; he had heard of the name Wang Jingxian before.
I heard she was spoiled rotten by the Wang family, and all she did all day was go shopping. He had seen her once at a banquet, and she was indeed incredibly arrogant.
Gu Shifan put away the note: "Okay, then please tell Mr. Wang that I will be on time for the appointment tonight."
