Chapter 211 [Alien_Zhao Xin] Revenge
Chapter 211 [Alien-Zhao Xin] Revenge
"Please... please... let me go..."
Perhaps he had forgotten the trick of asking Murong Lian, and it was completely useless.
Murong Lian was born in a family with no love but only power. He only knows that if you like someone, you have to express it through actions. But he has done so much, why doesn't his Wen Nu understand yet?
"Do you want to come here by yourself, or do you want me to go there personally?"
Mu Chi didn't dare to let him come in person, but he didn't want to go either.
He pulled out his hairpin, held it against his neck, and with the tip of the hairpin touching his skin, a drop of blood rolled down.
Murong Lian stopped in her tracks.
"Wen Nu," he said in a low, hoarse voice, but with a smile, "Have you learned to threaten me now?"
Mu Chi's wrist was shaking, but the hairpin penetrated deeper, and a line of blood slid along his collarbone into his collar.
"Put down the hairpin. I told you that if you want to die, you don't have to do this. It would be better for you to die on my bed."
Cheng Yuanzhou had given him three months of psychological preparation before he finally came to his senses. Now Murong Lian's words brought him back to the past. The silver hairpin fell, and Murong Lian didn't hesitate at all and stepped forward to grab his hand.
"You ran away right after you came out. Do you think my temper has improved and you are no longer afraid?"
He suddenly realized: every breath of free air he breathed outside was just a gap deliberately left by Murong Lian.
Even after the cage is closed, he is still the bird in the cage.
Mu Chi closed his eyes, ready to accept Murong Lian's torture, but the imagined scene did not come to him. After Murong Lian brought him back to Murong Mansion, he first gave him a bath, washed him inside and out, and then took him to meet a few people.
Mu Chi was frightened when he saw those people and didn't dare to go forward. He turned around and was about to run away, but was held tightly by Murong Lian.
"Your Highness, Your Highness, please spare my life. You were the one who asked me to do this."
Two months ago, Murong Lian had already found out that these people dared to touch his Wen Nu and were simply courting death. He imprisoned these people and tortured them every day, but he would not let them die easily.
"When did I ever say that?" Murong Lian hugged Mu Chi, "You are so brave."
Before Murong Lian could say anything else, Mu Chi said, "Didn't you tell them to do this?"
Mu Chi was afraid of Murong Lian, and it was instinctive for his body to want to get closer to him, but his heart didn't think so. He always thought of himself as his master, and every time he heard the word "master", he felt like he was falling into an icy cave.
When Murong Lian was being unreasonable, he would question her, but in return he was treated even more cruelly. There were times when he was really confused and wanted to die, but Murong Lian would not let him die. He couldn't even die.
"It was you who didn't want me, it was you who abandoned me."
He was talking about me, not the slave.
He pushed Murong Lian away.
"Murong Lian, I'm really tired. Can you please let me go and let me die?"
Murong Lian covered his mouth and said, "Wen Nu, you're not obedient." He didn't want to hear Mu Chi say anything about not wanting to live. "Since that's the case, I'll avenge you." He waved his hand and summoned the demon soldiers. "Cut off their evil roots and feed them to them."
When Mu Chi heard those words, his blood instantly froze.
He saw those demon soldiers being dragged up, their crotches were already bloody, but they were not dead yet. Their shrill screams became louder and louder, echoing in the empty temple.
Murong Lian simply lowered her head and wiped the blood splattered on his cheek with her fingertips, her tone so gentle that it was almost doting: "Wen Nu, look, I've vented your anger for you." Mu Chi's stomach suddenly tightened, and a sour feeling rose in his throat. He bent over and retched, but nothing came out.
Murong Lian's hand stroked down his back.
"Don't be afraid," he whispered. "If they ever touch you, I'll make them suffer a fate worse than death. Anyone who dares to touch you again will suffer the same fate."
Mu Chi raised his head, his eyes blank, as if he didn't understand. Murong Lian smiled, leaned over, picked him up, and walked into the house.
"You are tired," he said, "I will sleep with you for a while."
Mu Chi didn't struggle. He was too exhausted to even lift a finger. He leaned against Murong Lian's chest, and could smell the familiar agarwood fragrance on him, mixed with the nauseating smell of blood. The bed in the inner hall had already been replaced with new bedding, soft as clouds.
Murong Lian put him on it, then lay down herself, wrapping her arms around his waist.
"It wasn't me who did this, it was Gao Wujiu. I've already chopped his body into pulp and fed it to the dogs." He said, "I won't send you away. You're mine only. Don't be afraid, Wen Nu."
He bent down and kissed the top of Mu Chi's head, his voice so gentle it was almost sickly: "This king can't bear to see you die, Wen Nu. If you die, this king will let the whole world be buried with you."
Mu Chi closed his eyes. He recalled a spring day many years ago in Yandu, when the peach blossoms were in full bloom. He sat under a tree, drinking, while Hua Jin lay on his lap, whispering, "Master."
Back then, the wind was gentle, the clouds were light, and he thought the rest of his life would be like that. Now, thinking about it, it seems like something from a past life.
Murong Lian's hand reached into his collar, and Mu Chi shuddered subconsciously, but only curled up tighter.
"Don't be afraid," Murong Lian coaxed him softly, "I won't touch you today."
He paused, then added, "But you have to be good."
Mu Chi didn't respond. He just kept his eyes open, staring at the ceiling.
After an unknown amount of time, the noise outside finally stopped, and Mu Chi breathed a sigh of relief.
In the days that followed, Mu Chi was not in a good state. The person in his dreams was no longer Hua Jin or Murong Lian, but Cheng Yuanzhou.
There are many more memories in his mind that do not belong to him, and many things that have never happened.
Because of this, his resistance to Murong Lian was not just a little bit, and they returned to the way they were at the beginning, with Murong Lian forcing Mu Chi, and Mu Chi would rather die than surrender.
