Chapter 208 [Alien-Zhao Xin] Revenge

Chapter 208 [Alien-Zhao Xin] Revenge

Dongfang Liu held Zuo Qianqian in his arms, the pill between his fingers already dissolving, yet the bleeding wouldn't stop. He raised his eyes, his murderous intent lingering, but was overcome by the rift in the sky. From the rift, a massive, bony claw emerged, followed by an arm covered in dark gold runes.

"Star Devouring Demon?" Cheng Yuanzhou lost his voice. "Hasn't it been taken in—"

"How arrogant! How can I let you take my mount!" Murong Lian changed from the shabby look he had two days ago. His red clothes made his already dark, ghostly skin even more sinister. He stared at Mu Chi and Cheng Yuanzhou's holding hands, "Wen Nu, come here obediently."

Mu Chi didn't move forward, wanting to hide behind Cheng Yuanzhou. The killer move he used two days ago couldn't be used again within a month. He had no leverage to deal with Murong Lian.

If he returned to his side, he would be tortured to death. He wanted to kill Murong Lian, would Murong Lian let him go? The answer was absolutely impossible. He had already witnessed Murong Lian's horror, and he didn't want to go back. Besides, he hadn't found the Heart Mirror yet, so how could he leave?

Being with Murong Lian, his activities are too limited, and he has to rely on others to find clues to the Heart Mirror. He has to rely on others for everything. Is this still Mu Chi?

"Last time, I was careless. So, do you think you can handle me this time? Or do you think the Wangyou Sect can protect you?" Murong Lian landed on the ground. "I'm telling you, I don't take the Wangyou Sect seriously at all!"

Dongfang Liu held Zuo Qianqian in one hand and injected the ghost energy of the other hand into Mu Chi and Cheng Yuanzhou's bodies.

The disciples and the sect leader who rushed over saw Dongfang Liu handing Mu Chi and Cheng Yuanzhou over to Murong Lian.

Mu Chi was captured by Murong Lian, while Cheng Yuanzhou was held in the mouth of the Star-Devouring Demon.

Mu Chi looked at Dongfang Liu in disbelief, and then he felt pain all over his body as if he was being devoured by thousands of ghosts. He looked at Dongfang Liu's back without turning back, still holding on to a glimmer of fantasy, but it was quickly shattered.

"I have seen the fatal move he used to hurt you two days ago. It was created by me when I was alive. You cannot use it again within one month after using it. He can't hurt you. Don't let him go easily, otherwise the day he turns the tables will be the day of your death." After Dongfang Liu finished speaking, he took Zuo Qianqian away. It was too easy for Mu Chi to be a ghost.

Anyone who hurts Zuo Qianqian will be made to suffer a fate worse than death.

Mu Chi lost his last ray of hope. Two thousand years ago, unless the cultivators were powerful, how could they easily deal with the demons and monsters?

He looked at Murong Lian with a look that seemed to want to eat him, but he looked away after just one glance.

Murong Lian clenched her fingers, her demonic energy condensing into chains that bound Mu Chi's arms behind his back. The chains were covered in barbs, and with every movement, the barbs dug deeper. Blood dripped down his wrist bones, hitting the scorched earth and sending up wisps of black smoke.

Cheng Yuanzhou was held in mid-air by the demon, his shoulder blade pierced by its fangs. He still managed to raise his eyes, looking at Mu Chi, his lips forming a silent sound—

"Don't beg him."

Murong Lian glanced at Cheng Yuanzhou and suddenly smiled.

"This is the second son of Minister Cheng of Lido. I've heard of him a long time ago. You and he have spent the past few days together." He narrowed his eyes, pinched Mu Chi's chin, and brought him close to him. "You want to kill me. Have you seen him and want to return to his side?"

He knew everything about Wen Hanshuang's past and her affairs with Cheng Yuanzhou, so he guessed that even if Wen Hanshuang was deceived, the evil man Cheng Yuanzhou still lived in her heart.

Was it Murong Lian who wasn't good enough to Mu Chi? He was too good to Mu Chi, and he didn't know the pain after tasting the sweetness. He didn't know who caused him to end up in the brothel, and who rescued him. He treated him with all the best food and drink, holding him in his hands for fear of dropping him, and holding him in his mouth for fear of melting him.

Even so, his Wen Nu was still thinking about Cheng Yuanzhou, a person who was not good to him.

Murong Lian's grip on Mu Chi's chin suddenly increased, her nails almost digging into his flesh.

"Speak." His voice was low and hoarse, like rusty iron scraping against porcelain. "I'm asking you, are you still thinking about him?"

Mu Chi was forced to raise her head, a very light laugh rolled out of her throat, blood streaking along the corners of her lips. No one knew what she was thinking at the moment.

"Whether I miss him or not," he said, his voice broken but every word clear, "what does it have to do with you?"

Murong Lian's eyes darkened, and the chains formed by the demonic aura tightened violently, the barbs nearly ripping off his flesh. Mu Chi's vision darkened with pain, but he gritted his teeth and didn't utter a single plea for mercy.

"Good, very good." Murong Lian laughed in anger, turned his head to look at Cheng Yuanzhou who was being held by the demon, and a sinister look flashed in his eyes. "Since you care about him so much, I will grant your wish."

He raised his hand, and the demon's fangs pierced deeper into Cheng Yuanzhou's shoulder blade. Blood dripped from the fangs, leaving charred pits in the scorched earth. Cheng Yuanzhou groaned, but continued to stare at Mu Chi.

"Swallow the star." Murong Lian's voice was as gentle as if she was coaxing a cat. "Tear him into pieces and feed them piece by piece to my gentle slaves."

The demon growled, and its fangs suddenly tore—

"You dare!" Mu Chi roared, bloodshot eyes. He struggled desperately, the barbs on the chain nearly shattering his arms, yet he dragged himself forward, leaving two bloody streaks on the charred earth.

Murong Lian lowered her eyes and looked at him, with a hint of morbid joy in her eyes.

"Are you finally willing to look at me?" He squatted down, dipped his fingertips in Mu Chi's blood, and gently wiped it on his lips, "It's a pity it's too late."

The disciples and leader of Wangyou Sect were all controlled by the evil soldiers. The whole mountain was shrouded in darkness and death.

No one here is stronger than Murong Lian. No one will come to save Mu Chi, and no one can save Cheng Yuanzhou. The spiritual power he had gathered in the past two days was exhausted when he was investigating Zuo Qianqian.

"Don't hurt him," Mu Chi looked at the bloody Cheng Yuanzhou, and saw that he always felt an inexplicable pain in his heart. So when Cheng Yuanzhou approached him these past two days, he would avoid him, "Murong Lian!"

Cheng Yuanzhou's left leg was removed first, followed by his right hand.

It was the first time that Mu Chi had seen such a scene. His legs went weak and he knelt on the ground.

"You can punish me however you want, you... Ugh—"

Murong Lian looked at him kneeling and vomiting, and suddenly laughed softly. "Wen Nu, are you begging me?"

He lifted Mu Chi's chin with the tip of his boot, forcing him to look at Cheng Yuanzhou, who was still being torn apart in mid-air. "What are you begging for? Your life has long been mine. What else can you beg for?"

Blood rain poured down, and Cheng Yuanzhou's screams were torn to pieces by the demon's roar. Mu Chi saw his only remaining left arm convulsively raised, fingertips pointing at him, and his mouth still formed those two words -

Don't beg him.

Cheng Yuanzhou's hands and feet were broken off, and he became a human pig. He lay there staring at Mu Chi with his eyes wide open. He was dead.

His hands, feet and torso were taken away by the Star-Devouring Demon. Mu Chi was so frightened that he couldn't speak, and an inexplicable hatred arose in his heart.

He didn't know where this hatred came from. He had already decided to take Hua Jin back, but the murderous intent was ignited again, not because of himself, but because of Cheng Yuanzhou.

Seeing him like this, Murong Lian let go of his hand. Thinking that the man was already dead, he didn't want to force Mu Chi to do anything.

The moment it was released, Mu Chi suddenly pounced on Murong Lian, pressed him to the ground, and pinched him with both hands. His eyes seemed to be about to pop out, his face was hideous, and his hands were shaking.

"I'll kill you, I'll kill you!!"

"Wen Nu."

Murong Lian sighed and called out to him. Suddenly, she raised her hand, grabbed the back of Mu Chi's neck, and threw him hard to the ground. Gravel splattered. Mu Chi's head thudded with a dull thud, and a flash of stars exploded before his eyes. Murong Lian rolled over and pressed down on him, her knee pressing against his sternum.

"I am not afraid of death. Anyone can want to kill me, but you can't."

He could say that he was sorry to anyone, but he was definitely sorry to Wen Hanshuang. But Wen Hanshuang was the one who was sorry to him, which really made him heartbroken.

Nothing can escape from him after he has grasped it. This is true for power, and it must also be true for Wen Hanshuang.

He stared down at the man who said he was going to kill him, determined to make him get the punishment he deserved.

Mu Chi was already dizzy. Not only did his head and chest hurt, but his heart ached even more when he saw Cheng Yuanzhou's body being dismembered. He didn't understand what had happened to him, that he was actually being affected by the emotions of his original body.

Murong Lian swung Cheng Yuanzhou's limbs in front of Mu Chi and pushed them between his teeth.

"Since you care so much about him, why don't you just eat him up?"

"Cough cough cough..." Mu Chi turned his face away and was grabbed by the fishy and sweet blood, so he spat it out.

"Eat it!" Murong Lian didn't let him go. She clamped his chin and was about to stuff it in. He refused, so Murong Lian asked the magic soldiers to kill the disciples of Wangyou Sect.

"No, don't..." His face and body were covered in blood, but it wasn't his. He watched those living people fall one after another. He knelt and crawled towards Murong Lian, "I was wrong, I was wrong, I... I shouldn't have killed you, it was my fault!"

The greatest pain for a master is not being able to teach his disciples well.

"It's my fault..." His hands were shaking, bloody, and corpses were thrown in front of him one after another.

How could Murong Lian simply admit his mistakes? Mu Chi had to do what he said, otherwise he would not stop. He kicked Mu Chi in the stomach, leaving him lying in the blood, staining him dirty. He let him fall on those corpses, making him dirty, making him sink with him. He also wanted Mu Chi to kill those people with his own hands.

Since Mu Chi dared to kill himself, killing these weak mortals should be a piece of cake.

"If you eat him, I will let those people go." Murong Lian saw Mu Chi hesitated, "Three, two, one."

As the "one" sound came out, Mu Chi suppressed his nausea, fear, and resentment and swallowed the piece of meat, but Murong Lian did not let the demon soldiers stop.

"You, ugh..." Mu Chi vomited all over the floor, "...Can you let them go?"

Murong Lian sneered.

"It's too late. Besides, didn't Wen Nu vomit it out?"

"You, you promised me!"

"I have finished counting."

Murong Lian clearly did it on purpose, counting so quickly that even if he had a quick reaction, he would still hesitate to eat human flesh.

"However, since you are my favorite furnace, I will play a game with you."

A light flashed in Mu Chi's eyes, and he looked at her infatuatedly. Even though he knew that the other party had bad intentions and just didn't want him to get what he wanted, he still wanted to try.

"What?"

“你殺一人,本王便放一人如何?”

“什麽!”

木馳嘶啞的嗓音在焦土上炸開,帶着尚未咽下的血腥。

慕容憐卻只是垂眸,指腹溫柔地拭過他唇角殘肉,像在對待一件易碎的瓷器。
