Su Sijin and Zheng Jie moved among the crowd, pretending to chat with people.
Zheng Jie shook her head slightly, and Su Sijin knew that the person they were looking for was not there.
After two hours, there was still nothing.
On the way back, Su Sijin asked doubtfully, "Mother, have you searched everywhere? Haven't you found that person?"
Zheng Jie nodded gently, "No."
Su Sijin narrowed her eyes. Could it be that her judgment was wrong?
Wasn’t the blood on Zheng Jie and Lu Qiuling the cause of the wild wolves’ attack?
But why does the wolf have such a clear goal?
"Could he be dead?"
Zheng Jie raised questions. After all, those people died in such a horrible way that they were just buried in a random pit.
Su Sijin frowned, "That's possible."
Since they couldn't find it, they had to give up and Su Sijin and Zheng Jie went to collect firewood.
Su Sijin had just transferred the purified water in the space into the water bag when she heard Zheng Jie calling out, "Sijin, let's go back!"
On the way back, Su Sijin suddenly saw a hunched man acting suspiciously. Isn't this the prelude to doing something bad?
After Su Sijin sent Zheng Jie away, she followed quietly.
I followed the man to a big tree and saw him move a tree stump.
He pulled out a gray furry object from inside, raised the dagger, and scratched the object's paws a few times.
Faced with the sudden pain, the gray furry thing let out a whimpering cry.
Su Sijin widened her eyes slightly. The gray furry thing turned out to be a wolf cub.
Then the man took out a bamboo tube to collect the blood. After about a quarter of an hour, the wolf cub's voice was so weak that it was almost inaudible, and the man stopped collecting the wolf's blood.
Su Sijin had a cold face and waited quietly. She caught a glimpse of a figure out of the corner of her eye. She was worried that the other party would alert the enemy, so she quickly moved over and stopped his reckless behavior.
Su Sijin shook her head slightly, and Jiang Hong nodded, agreeing to cooperate.
The man put the wolf cub back into the tree hole, took the bamboo tube filled with wolf blood, and walked into the cave.
"Master Jiang, go take care of the wolf cub and clean up the blood in the tree hole. I want to see who he is and what he wants to do."
Su Sijin was not just annoyed, but more angry.
Regardless of the purpose, using wolf blood to kill the eldest son of the Lu family and disregarding the lives of innocent people is a crime worthy of death.
Having failed once, he resorted to the same old trick again? His malicious intentions are simply outrageous.
Su Sijin followed all the way and saw the man following suit, sprinkling the wolf's blood in the grass and on the stone walls outside the cave.
He pretended to collide with Lu Changming again, and after entering the cave, he got close to Lu Qiuling.
Su Sijin entered the cave, locked onto his back with sharp eyes, and pointed at him, "Second brother, take him down."
Lu Changming took a quick step and successfully subdued the man, "Sister-in-law, hold on."
The man started yelling, "Lu Changming, what are you doing? Why are you arresting me? Do you still think you're a high-ranking noble?"
Lu Changming pulled his hands back with force. The man grimaced in pain and begged for mercy.
"What's going on? What's going on? Just when things were quiet for a while, you're causing trouble again!"
Tang Peng pushed through the crowd and came to Lu Changming.
Without asking any questions, she asked Lu Changming to let the man go.
"Lu Changming, don't bully others just because you're big. Let him go immediately."
Lu Changming didn't move, and Su Sijin didn't say anything. He would not let the person go.
Just as Tang Peng was about to whip him, Su Sijin took out a bamboo tube from the man's body and said, "Tang Jie, are you whipping people without knowing the truth? Even if the prisoner has a chance to defend himself."
"Tang Jieren has a preconceived notion and punished my second brother without asking for the reason. I despise Tang Jieren's way of handling things."
Tang Peng forced the whip to turn and hit the stone wall, causing sparks to fly. It was obvious that he used all his strength on this whip.
If this whip hit Lu Changming, the least he could do would be torn skin and flesh.
Tang Peng put away his whip and said angrily, "I want to hear what you have to say."
Su Sijin shouted, "Mother, come and see, was this the person we were with in the cave before?"
Zheng Jie stepped forward and took a closer look. Even though the man was avoiding her with a guilty conscience, Zheng Jie still recognized him at a glance, "That's him."
Su Sijin got the exact answer and curled her lips.
"Tang Jieren, go take a look outside the cave first! Everyone should come together."
Tang Peng didn't know what Su Sijin was up to, but he still went out as she said.
Then came Tang Peng's angry roar, "Who the hell spilled blood everywhere? I've told you time and again that there are many ferocious beasts in the woods, and blood will attract them. Didn't those people who died before teach you a lesson?"
"Fuck it, if you want to die, just tell me, I'll make your wish come true."
After Tang Peng vented his anger, he ordered people to clean up the bloodstains outside and to fumigate the place with mugwort to prevent the residual smell from attracting wild beasts.
Tang Peng's face was cold, and he asked unexpectedly, "What's going on?"
Su Sijin picked up the bamboo tube and said, "This contains the wolf cub's blood, and it's warm. The blood on the outside is the wolf cub's blood."
Su Sijin pointed, "He caught the wolf cub, took its blood, and then scattered it outside. He also pretended to collide with my second brother to fool my sister-in-law. I'm sure they all have blood on them."
Su Sijin casually pointed at three people and said, "And there is blood on you too."
The people who were named all looked down and found blood on their bodies.
"I said there was something wrong with the wild wolf yesterday. It chased Lu Changming like crazy."
