Bo Jingcheng looked at his hands and realized he hadn't grasped anything. A living person had vanished right before his eyes.
He and Bo Xuan stood frozen in place, staring at the empty teleportation portal, dumbfounded.
"How could this happen?" Bo Jingcheng muttered to himself.
After a long while, Bo Xuan burst into tears again, his heart-wrenching cries echoing in the park and tugging at Bo Jingcheng's heart.
Bo Jingcheng mechanically squatted down, hugged Bo Xuan into his arms, and tried to comfort his son, but his own tears also welled up uncontrollably and dripped onto Bo Xuan's shoulder.
"Daddy, why doesn't Mommy want us anymore?" Bo Xuan sobbed, his childish words striking Bo Jingcheng's heart like a hammer blow. Bo Jingcheng opened his mouth, but his throat was too dry to make a sound. He didn't know how to explain all this to his son, so he could only hug Bo Xuan tighter, as if that would hold onto the warmth that was about to dissipate.
Returning home from the park, the house, once filled with laughter, now felt unusually quiet.
Looking at the empty villa, Bo Jingcheng was overwhelmed with memories. The days they spent together, filled with arguments and sweetness, all seemed incredibly precious now.
He picked up their wedding rings, those two rings that carried their vows, now the heaviest shackles.

Bo Jingcheng refused to believe that Jiang Xinyue had simply disappeared and would never appear before him and his son again.
He tried to find photos of Jiang Xinyue in his home, as well as clothes she used to wear and their marriage certificate.
He discovered that there wasn't a single item in the house that belonged to Jiang Xinyue; it had completely vanished.
"No, this isn't true."
Bo Jingcheng summoned the family's maid, Aunt Xiu, and became agitated, angrily demanding, "Aunt Xiu, where are Madam's clothes? Why is there not a single thing in the house that belongs to Xinyue?"
"Sir, you've forgotten, Madam died a long time ago!" Aunt Xiu said with a puzzled look.
"Dead? How is that possible? Xinyue didn't die, she just disappeared and went to a place I don't know about."
Aunt Xiu frowned. "Sir, who is Xinyue?"
"Xinyue is my wife. Her name is Jiang Xinyue, and she is the eldest daughter of the Jiang family."
Aunt Xiu was even more puzzled. "Sir, are you mistaken? The Jiang family doesn't have any daughters, only a son named Jiang Chengyu."
"Aunt Xiu, have you gotten senile after all these years? Jiang Chengyu is Xinyue's older brother." Bo Jingcheng was also a little suspicious. Why did it seem like Aunt Xiu didn't recognize Xinyue?

Why are only he and his son still remembering?
He couldn't believe that everyone had forgotten Jiang Xinyue's existence.
So he forced himself to get up and decided to go to the Jiang family to find out what was going on.
On the other side, Jiang Xinyue returned to the real world.
She woke up from her coma, slowly opened her eyes, and found herself in a hospital, surrounded by white.

She has traveled back in time, back to a year ago, after her car accident.
