Chapter 133 Extra: Bo Jingcheng and his son have gone mad.

After the meal, Fu Shuheng suggested taking Jiang Xinyue to visit his family's private collection room, which houses precious antiques and works of art collected by the Fu family over several generations.

Upon entering the collection room, Jiang Xinyue was overwhelmed by the dazzling array of items. Soft lighting bathed the various collections, giving them a captivating glow.

As they walked, Fu Shuheng introduced the painting to Jiang Xinyue. When they came to an old oil painting, Fu Shuheng stopped and said, "This painting was brought back by my great-grandfather when he traveled to Europe. It is said to be an original work by a Renaissance painter."

Jiang Xinyue leaned closer to admire it and exclaimed sincerely, "The brushstrokes are delicate, and the color matching is also wonderful. You can feel the artistic charm of that era."

Fu Shuheng smiled and said, "Is there anything you like? Or, is there anything you like? Pick a few to take home."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Xinyue quickly waved her hand, "How can this be? This is too valuable, I can't accept it."

These antiques and paintings are priceless treasures; she dared not accept them.

"Don't be afraid. Mom and Dad said they'll make sure you get something you like to take back as a return gift." Fu Shuheng held her hand, gently kneaded her wrist, and looked at her with a face full of affection.

Jiang Xinyue was still somewhat hesitant. She knew these collections were incredibly valuable, and even if Fu Shuheng's parents had such good intentions, she found it hard to accept. She looked up at Fu Shuheng and said earnestly, "Shuheng, I understand your and my aunt's good intentions, but these are really too precious. I like these collections because of their artistic value, not because I want to own them."

Looking at Jiang Xinyue's sincere expression, Fu Shuheng's heart was filled with love. He gently pinched Jiang Xinyue's nose and smiled, "You're always so sensible. Alright then, since you insist on not having it, I won't force you. However, if we get married in the future, these things will be yours sooner or later."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Xinyue blushed immediately and quickly turned her head away, saying, "What marriage? Who said I was going to marry you?"

Fu Shuheng couldn't help but laugh when he saw Jiang Xinyue's shy expression. He reached out and gently turned her shoulder so that she would face him.

He looked at Jiang Xinyue with tender yet firm eyes and said, "Xinyue, I'm serious. I've long decided that you're the one I want to spend my life with."

Jiang Xinyue lowered her eyes slightly, her long eyelashes trembling, her heart filled with sweetness and shyness.

She hesitated, about to say something, when Fu Shuheng's phone suddenly rang urgently.

Fu Shuheng sighed helplessly, took out his phone, glanced at the caller ID, frowned slightly, and his expression became serious.

He looked at Jiang Xinyue apologetically and said, "Xinyue, there's an emergency at the company, and I have to go there immediately to handle it. I'm really sorry." Jiang Xinyue nodded quickly, her eyes full of understanding: "It's okay, you go ahead. Work is important. I'll wait for you to come back here."

Fu Shuheng stepped forward, gently embraced Jiang Xinyue, kissed her on the head, and whispered, "I'll be back as soon as possible. If you're bored, just wander around this collection room some more and wait for me."

After saying that, he released Jiang Xinyue, turned around and quickly left the collection room.

Jiang Xinyue watched Fu Shuheng's departing figure until he was out of sight before turning her gaze away.

She slowly strolled through the collection room, admiring the precious artifacts while thinking about what Fu Shuheng had just said, a smile unconsciously appearing on her face.

Just then, a white light flashed, and the long-absent system appeared in front of Jiang Xinyue.

"System?" Jiang Xinyue was quite surprised to see the system appear.

She thought the system would disappear after she returned to the real world.

[System: Host, the male protagonist in the novel's world, and your son, have gone mad.]

"Crazy? What do you mean?" Jiang Xinyue's expression changed slightly upon hearing this, and she had a bad feeling.

[System: The entire world has forgotten about you, except for Bo Jingcheng and your son Bo Xuan. They're searching for you like mad.]

Jiang Xinyue remained calm, but clenched her fists involuntarily: "After I left the novel world, they had nothing to do with me anymore. System, if you're here to persuade me to go back and conquer them, then you've come to the wrong person. I will never have anything to do with them again."

[System: Host, the male lead is in a pitiful state right now. His company went bankrupt, and his grandfather died of illness. Your ex-husband and your son are almost starving to death. Aren't you going to do anything about it?]

Jiang Xinyue listened to the system's words, and although she felt a little reluctant, she still shook her head firmly and said, "System, I have experienced too much in that world. Now that I have finally returned to reality, have my own life, and have Shuheng, I don't want to be entangled by the past anymore."

The system flickered a few times, seemingly somewhat helpless: "Host, you need to know that if you don't go back to help them, that fictional world might collapse, which might then affect the real world."

Jiang Xinyue frowned, a hint of doubt in her eyes: "Will there really be such serious consequences? You're not lying to me, are you?"

[System: Why would I lie to you, host? This is all true. There's a subtle connection between the fictional world and the real world. If the fictional world collapses, the real world will also be affected.]

Jiang Xinyue bit her lip, lost in thought. She thought of Fu Shuheng, and of everything she had just built up in the real world, and her heart was filled with reluctance.

But if it really is as the system says, she can't just stand by and watch both worlds fall into crisis.

[System: Host, they already know you're not from the novel's world and are trying every means to see you. You must find a way to go back and stop them; they won't give up until they see you.]

"System, let me... think about it."

Just as she was hesitating, the door to the collection room suddenly opened.

Fu Shuheng rushed in, panting. Seeing that Jiang Xinyue was still there, a relieved smile appeared on his face: "Xinyue, I finished dealing with things at the company. I was worried that you would be scared by yourself, so I rushed back."

Jiang Xinyue looked at Fu Shuheng, her heart filled with mixed emotions. She didn't know whether she should tell him what the system had told her. What if Fu Shuheng didn't believe her and thought she was talking nonsense? But if she didn't tell him, she didn't know what to do.

Fu Shuheng noticed Jiang Xinyue's unusual behavior and asked with concern, "Xinyue, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

Jiang Xinyue took a deep breath and decided not to tell Fu Shuheng about the system yet. She forced a smile and said, "It's nothing, I'm just a little tired."

Fu Shuheng looked at Jiang Xinyue with concern and said, "Then let's go out first, you should get some rest."

After saying that, he took Jiang Xinyue's hand and walked out of the collection room.

Jiang Xinyue suddenly broke free from his hand and couldn't help but say, "Shuheng, it's too late now, I should go back."
