Jiang Xinyue left resolutely, her figure disappearing at the end of the corridor, leaving the ward deathly silent.
Bo Jingcheng stared at the empty doorway, filled with regret and confusion. He wanted to chase after her, but was stopped by Shen Siyao's call.
"Jingcheng..."
Bo Jingcheng snapped out of his daze, turned to look at Chen Siyao in front of him, and asked blankly, "What's wrong?"
"Jingcheng, Jiang Xinyue is determined to leave you and Xuanxuan, so just let her go! I will always be by your side, you still have me!"
As she spoke, Shen Siyao nestled into Bo Jingcheng's arms, but inwardly she cursed viciously, "Damn Jiang Xinyue, you've already left, why are you still showing up in front of Bo Jingcheng?"
Bo Jingcheng pushed Shen Siyao away, his gaze darting away. He didn't know why, but seeing Jiang Xinyue's departing figure made his heart ache.
"Siyao, now is not the time to talk about this. Let's worry about Xuanxuan first!"
As he spoke, Bo Jingcheng sat down by the hospital bed, took Bo Xuan's hand, and asked with a pained expression, "Son, is it still in pain?"
Bo Xuan shook his head. "It doesn't hurt anymore, Dad. Do you think Mommy really wants to divorce you? Does she really not want me anymore?"
Bo Jingcheng's throat seemed to be blocked, and it took him a long time to speak with difficulty: "Xuanxuan, Mommy is just angry, she won't abandon you."
But he wasn't sure either. Recalling Jiang Xinyue's resolute appearance, the panic of losing her grew stronger.
Shen Siyao stood aside, watching the father and son's affectionate behavior, feeling a pang of sadness in her heart.
She forced a smile and said, "Xuanxuan, don't worry, Aunt Siyao is here and will always be with you."
Bo Xuan merely glanced at her indifferently without responding, his gaze still fixed on Bo Jingcheng, as if seeking a more definitive answer.
These past few days, Bo Jingcheng has been staying at the hospital to take care of Bo Xuan, taking turns with Shen Siyao.
With the day approaching—the day when the famous designer Linda would sign a contract with Shengshi Group—Bo Jingcheng, after taking his son home from the hospital, immediately changed into formal attire with Shen Siyao and headed to the signing ceremony.
At the signing ceremony, dazzling crystal chandeliers shone brightly, and amidst the elegant attire and graceful figures, everyone eagerly awaited Linda's arrival.
Bo Jingcheng was dressed in a sharp suit, but he seemed somewhat absent-minded, glancing at his watch every now and then.
Shen Siyao, dressed in an evening gown, stood beside Bo Jingcheng. "Jingcheng, even if Linda has partnered with Shengshi Group, it won't pose a threat to our company."
Bo Jingcheng glanced at her. "What I value is Linda's talent. Any design she creates is a masterpiece. It's just a pity that she's elusive; no one knows her true face, let alone where she is right now."
Just then, someone shouted out.
"Look, Mr. Fu from Shengshi Group is here."
Outside the hall, a graceful woman, dressed in a red evening gown like a blooming rose, walked slowly in, arm in arm with Fu Heng.
The handsome man and beautiful woman instantly attracted the attention of many people.
When Bo Jingcheng saw that the woman was Jiang Xinyue, his face instantly darkened.
"Wow, is the woman next to President Fu the legendary designer Linda?"
"Are you blind? That's not Linda, she's clearly Bo Xilai's wife, Jiang Xinyue, the eldest daughter of the Jiang family."
"Oh? Miss Jiang, what are you doing with President Fu?"
"I heard that Jiang Xinyue has joined Shengshi Group."
"What? Mrs. Bo went to Bo's rival company? What's going on?"
"I heard that Mr. Bo's white moonlight has returned, and Miss Jiang is divorcing Mr. Bo! I guess the two of them have already broken up."
The surrounding guests and media immediately turned into onlookers, scanning Jiang Xinyue and her companions back and forth.
Bo Jingcheng clenched his fists involuntarily, his nails digging deep into his palms. He stared intently at Jiang Xinyue and Fu Heng, his eyes filled with rage.
Shen Siyao tugged at Bo Jingcheng's sleeve and whispered, "Jingcheng, don't be angry. Xinyue did this on purpose to upset you. She hasn't even divorced you yet! And she's already hooking up with President Fu. It's outrageous."
Upon hearing Shen Siyao's words, Bo Jingcheng clenched his fists even tighter, his anger intensifying.
Just then, Fu Heng and Jiang Xinyue reached an area where the crowd was more concentrated. Fu Heng smiled and exchanged pleasantries with the people around him, while Jiang Xinyue maintained an elegant smile, her eyes occasionally sweeping over Bo Jingcheng, but without lingering there at all.
Bo Jingcheng could no longer bear it. Ignoring Shen Siyao's attempts to stop him, he walked straight towards Jiang Xinyue. He grabbed Jiang Xinyue's arm with such force that Jiang Xinyue couldn't help but frown. "Jiang Xinyue, come out with me. I have something to ask you!" Bo Jingcheng's voice was deep and carried an undeniable authority.
Upon seeing this, Fu Heng immediately stepped forward to stop him, "Bo Jingcheng, what are you doing? Do you intend to make a move in front of so many people?"
Bo Jingcheng glared at Fu Heng fiercely, "This is between Jiang Xinyue and me. We're husband and wife talking, so don't interfere!"
Jiang Xinyue forcefully broke free from Bo Jingcheng's hand and said coldly, "Bo Jingcheng, this is a public place. Please watch your words and actions. We can talk about this when we get a divorce."
Her tone was calm, yet it was like a sharp blade, piercing straight into Bo Jingcheng's heart.
People around began to whisper, and flashes of light captured the chaotic scene.
Shen Siyao caught up with them, and said in a feigned aggrieved tone, "Jingcheng, don't be impulsive, so many people are watching! Let's go."
