Chapter 60 Jiang's Mother Remains in a Coma

Everyone waited anxiously outside the emergency room; every second felt like an eternity.

After an unknown amount of time, the door to the emergency room finally opened, and the doctor came out.

Jiang Xinyue rushed forward and asked anxiously, "Doctor, how is my mother?"

The doctor removed his mask and said with a grave expression, "The patient suffered a sudden cerebral hemorrhage. His condition is critical. Although he is temporarily out of danger, he is still in a coma and needs further observation and treatment."

Upon hearing this news, Jiang Xinyue's vision went black, and she almost fainted.

Jiang Chengyu also looked grief-stricken, and supported Jiang Xinyue, saying, "Xinyue, don't be like this, Mom still needs us."

"Your mother usually has high blood pressure, which she has been controlling with medication. How could she suddenly have a cerebral hemorrhage?" Mr. Jiang asked anxiously, almost in tears.

Fu Heng quickly reassured him, "Uncle Jiang, don't worry. Didn't the doctor just say that Auntie is out of danger?"

Jiang Xinyue fought back her tears, steadied herself, and looked at the doctor, asking, "Doctor, when will my mother wake up, and what will the follow-up treatment plan be?"

The doctor frowned slightly, shook his head, and said, "It's difficult to predict when a patient with a cerebral hemorrhage will wake up. Some may take a few days, some a few weeks, or even longer. We will closely monitor her vital signs and arrange rehabilitation treatment to promote the recovery of neurological function, but the specific results will vary from person to person."

Jiang Chengyu took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down, and said to the doctor, "Doctor, please use the best treatment method no matter what, we will fully cooperate."

The doctor nodded, gave a few instructions, and then hurriedly left to prepare for the follow-up treatment.

The family gathered around the hospital bed, looking at the unconscious mother; the atmosphere was so oppressive it was hard to breathe.

Jiang's father gently held his wife's hand and said in a trembling voice, "My dear wife, please wake up. This family can't live without you."

Jiang Xinyue sat on the edge of the bed, tears streaming down her face. She gently stroked her mother's cheek and murmured, "Mom, I'm sorry I'm late. You must get better soon."

Fu Heng stood to the side, gently patting Jiang Xinyue's shoulder, offering silent comfort.

Bo's Group.

At the signing ceremony of Shengshi Group last time, his relationship with Shen Siyao was exposed. Although he tried his best to suppress it and prevented the gossip media from reporting it.

However, the Bo Group was still somewhat affected, with its stock price falling and the loss of several partners.

Just as Bo Jingcheng was having a headache, his assistant Liu Hao pushed open the door and rushed in, looking flustered. "Mr. Bo, something bad has happened!"

Bo Jingcheng hated hearing those three words the most, and his face immediately turned ugly as he said, "Liu Hao, if you keep talking nonsense, do you believe I'll fire you?"

Liu Hao knew that if he rushed up now, it would only add fuel to the fire, but if he didn't speak up, it wouldn't be as simple as just resigning.

"President Bo, no, this time it's really bad."

Upon hearing this, Bo Jingcheng covered his head, looking displeased, and said, "Tell me quickly, what exactly happened?"

"It's Madam, her mother, your mother-in-law, who's in a coma and hospitalized." As soon as Liu Hao received the news, he rushed over to tell his boss.

"What?" Bo Jingcheng was shocked. Although Jiang Xinyue was currently divorcing him, they were still legally married.

Upon learning that his mother-in-law was sick and hospitalized, Bo Jingcheng immediately stood up, looking anxious, and asked, "When did this happen? Which hospital is she in?"

Liu Hao quickly responded: "Regarding today's incident, at the First Municipal Hospital, I heard the situation is quite serious; it's a cerebral hemorrhage."

Bo Jingcheng didn't have time to think it through. He grabbed his coat and rushed out the door, instructing Liu Hao as he went: "Contact the hospital and find the best specialists. No matter how much it costs, you must cure my mother-in-law."

Inside the hospital, Jiang Xinyue remained immersed in grief, staying by her mother's bedside, her eyes never daring to blink. Jiang Chengyu, meanwhile, was outside the ward, discussing the costs of subsequent treatment with his father.

Although the family is relatively well-off, the subsequent expenses will inevitably be a bottomless pit in the face of such a difficult illness.

At this moment, Bo Jingcheng rushed over, his steps hurried, asking questions all the way to the ward.

Seeing his mother-in-law lying unconscious in the hospital bed, and Jiang Xinyue sitting by the bedside with tears streaming down her face, he felt very bad.

He quietly walked up behind Jiang Xinyue and whispered, "Xinyue."

Jiang Xinyue stiffened upon hearing the voice, turned around and saw Bo Jingcheng. A complex emotion flashed in her eyes, including surprise.

But thinking about the conflict between the two of them, she turned her head away and remained silent.

Bo Jingcheng didn't care. He walked to the bedside, looked at Jiang's pale-faced mother, and felt guilty.

"Xinyue, I'm sorry I'm late."

Jiang Xinyue asked coldly, "What are you doing here?"

Bo Jingcheng looked at his frail mother-in-law on the hospital bed, his voice trembling slightly: "Xinyue, no matter what happened between us, Auntie is still my elder. She is sick now, and I can't just ignore her."

He paused, then looked sincerely at Jiang Xinyue, "Moreover, I also want to stay by your side and face this together with you."

Jiang Xinyue bit her lip and turned her head away, not wanting Bo Jingcheng to see the tears welling up in her eyes. "Our issues haven't been resolved yet, now is not the time to talk about these things."

Her voice was choked with emotion, but even more so with stubbornness.

At this moment, Jiang Chengyu and his father entered the ward.

When Jiang's father saw Bo Jingcheng, he was slightly taken aback, and a complicated expression flashed across his face.

Jiang Chengyu frowned and said in an unfriendly tone, "What are you doing here? Our family matters are none of your concern."
