Jiang Xinyue was taken aback when Fu Heng said such a thing in front of everyone. A complex mix of emotions welled up inside her, a mixture of gratitude and worry. She was touched by Fu Heng's protection of her, but worried that this might complicate matters further.
Li Na seemed to have been punched hard; she stood frozen in place, her expression shifting from anger to disbelief, and then to deep despair. "Mr. Fu, you...you really like her?"
Her voice was choked with sobs, and she was on the verge of collapse.
Fu Heng looked at Li Na with a serious and firm expression: "Li Na, I hope you understand that public and private matters must be kept separate. The company will reward you for your work, but it is unforgivable for you to maliciously slander your colleagues because of personal feelings."
