"Son, your cousin and Hao Hao will arrive this afternoon. Your dad and I are too busy to go. Why don't you go to the airport to pick them up?" Fu's mother said on the other end of the phone.
Fu Heng glanced at the mountain of documents piled on the table and looked troubled. "Mom, I still have work to do."
"Work, work, all you ever think about is work! I'm ordering you to go to the airport right now to pick someone up," Fu's mother raised her voice on the phone.
Fu Heng had no choice but to compromise: "Alright, Mom, I understand."
After hanging up the phone, Fu Heng looked apologetically at Jiang Xinyue: "I'm sorry, Xinyue, I have to go to the airport to pick someone up. I may have to put this work on hold for now."
"Mr. Fu, please go ahead! Picking up the person is the priority."
Actually, the company belongs to Fu Heng. He can leave whenever he wants, and there's no need for him to tell her, his employee.
For some reason, Fu Heng told her these things in a way that sounded like he was reporting something to her.
Soon, Fu Heng drove to the airport in the north of the city.
