Chapter 154 An Eye for an Eye

Seeing the panicked monsters, Chiu Chiu was very curious about who had come and why they were so afraid.

The king asked, "Who exactly is this person?"

The wounded monster stammered, "Yes, it was the warden and those two powerful mages!"

Even the king couldn't help but shudder.

Chirp: "Warden, mage? What are they doing here?"

The king patted Chiu Chiu's head and said, "In order to intimidate the monsters here, they bring their most powerful sorcerers every now and then and use the most vicious spells to harm the creatures here. Alas! The creatures here have also suffered greatly."

The king sighed helplessly.

Chiu Chiu asked, "Why did they hurt you?"

The king sighed again and said, "They come every few days to capture a few monsters, which the sorcerers then use to refine magic. It's said that the King of Black Fruit Kingdom uses them to refine the elixir of immortality, while others say that the King of Black Fruit Kingdom uses them to refine weapons to fight against neighboring countries. Who knows?"

Chiu Chiu looked at the king with her big, bright, watery eyes and asked, "So how did you all get locked up here?"

Your Majesty: "Well... actually, it's mostly because of greed and gluttony. They were tempted by them, enjoyed the food they offered, and ended up being drugged and ending up here."

Chirp walked up a few steps and stood on a high place, looking even taller than the king.

She patted the king's head and said seriously, "Children shouldn't eat things given to them by strangers, understand?"

Everyone looked at the king in surprise.

Normally, the king would be furious.

No one dared to treat their king like that.

This is utterly disrespectful!

Unexpectedly, their king not only didn't get angry, but instead said gently, "Yes! We will never eat food given by strangers again!"

The monsters below were trying to suppress their laughter, and some of them couldn't help but want to burst out laughing.

The king looked down and said sternly, "Did you hear that? If you hadn't been so greedy, you wouldn't have ended up like this!"

The monsters quickly nodded and said, "Yes, yes, yes! We obey your command, Your Majesty!"

A pitiful scream came from outside.

Everyone looked outside in horror.

"Oh no! They're coming soon!"

Yazi roared angrily, glaring outside.

Qiuqiu looked at Yazi, then pointed outside and said, "Do you have a grudge against them?"

Unexpectedly, Ya Zi nodded and then dashed out like lightning.

Just as the warden and the mages were about to storm into the king's territory, a gust of wind blew them so hard they couldn't open their eyes.

Just as they were rubbing the sand out of their eyes and calming down, they suddenly saw a huge creature in front of them.

The warden's mouth gaped open: "How did it get out? Quick, perform a ritual! Trap it!"

The two sorcerers set up a grand display, channeling their power and performing rituals, bringing out their most powerful yellow talismans.

The warden smiled smugly and said, "Yazi, this is the most powerful spell; you can't escape!"

Two streams of magical power struck Ya Zi.

Ya Zi leaped into the air and skillfully dodged the magic.

Then he flew to the mage.

Before the monks could react, their necks had already been bitten off by the Yazi.

Seeing this, the warden quickly ran away.

Yazi's claws slashed at it.

A long, bloody gash was torn from the back of the warden.

Ya Zi walked step by step toward the warden.

The warden, clutching his wound, staggered back, saying, "Lord Ya Zi, it's not my fault. They ordered me to lock you up, it really isn't my doing!"

Ya Zi wouldn't listen to his explanation.

It roared and pounced.

The warden died instantly.

The monsters on the king's side saw this and cheered with joy.

"Great! The mage is dead, and the warden is dead! No one will torture us anymore!"
