She placed the key aside and walked towards Sui Sui's room with a hint of emotion in her eyes, but no one was there.

She strode to the bedside, about to pull the covers off him and drag him out of bed, when she saw a thin layer of sweat on his forehead, his face pale, and his brows furrowed as if he had dreamt of something bad.

"I won't take up too much of your time, just a little while." Huo Zhizhou hugged her closer to his chest, the real touch and the familiar, pleasant, and clean scent soothing his uneasy heart.
He knew when Jiang Ruan and Sui Sui opened the door and came in.
At that time, he was in a state between dreaming and waking, wondering why Assistant Jiang hadn't told him, while struggling in his dream.
He didn't fully wake up until Jiang Ruan came to his bedside. He had already decided that if she directly asked him to leave, he wouldn't disturb her, but she called out the name Huo and then stopped talking.
