"They haven't already contacted you, have they?" Lin Ling guessed, considering her parents' personalities.
When she woke up and couldn't find her phone, she knew something was wrong. She immediately went to ask the neighbors where her parents were, but because she had come back in the middle of the night, the neighbors didn't know. As a result, she was pulled aside to chat for a while when she greeted them, otherwise they would have been able to call her sooner.
"You just called me and said you had an accident and were in the hospital, and asked me to send you money." Lin Tan said, half-jokingly, not wanting her to worry too much. "I was just about to transfer the money when you called."
