After they finished speaking, they walked out.
Just as I reached the top of the stairs, I saw Su Zhu coming up.
"I thought you weren't coming tonight," Jiang Ruan greeted her. As it was nearing the end of the workday, she asked her when she would be coming over, and she said she wasn't sure yet.
"You promised to come see me, how could you not come?" Su Zhu put her hand on her. "I was supposed to come over this afternoon, but something came up at the last minute."
