Chapter 236 Su Anran attempts to threaten Jiang Ruan

Gu Shixi was dumbfounded.
He stood there, stunned, his head buzzing: "Are you sure Jiang Ruan is Huo Er's savior?"
"Of course!" Ye Yan pushed him out of the house and slammed the door shut. "Su Anran's scar was copied one-to-one with Xiao Jiangjiang's, unless that scar has nothing to do with Huo Zhizhou's benefactor."
Xiao Jiang had already confirmed with Su Anran this morning.
This is almost certainly true.
Gu Shixi paused.
If Jiang Ruan really is Huo Er's savior, then wouldn't that be terrible...?
Thinking of this, he immediately bought a ticket to fly to Haicheng on the same plane as Ye Yanzhi. He had to tell him about this, otherwise, if Ye Yanzhi went there to cause trouble, Huo Er's mood would probably be even worse.

"You found Huo Zhizhou because of the scar on your leg, didn't you?" Jiang Ruan stated the facts in the calmest of words.
Su Anran's face stiffened.
Did she really know?
"Dr. Yin is awake." Jiang Ruan told her the whole story directly, "He told us everything about you looking for him."
"Impossible!" Su Anran retorted instinctively, unwilling to believe this fact from the bottom of her heart.
"You'll find out if you message him." Jiang Ruan stood up, not intending to chat with her any longer. "Judging by the time, Huo Zhizhou should know by now."
Su Anran's pupils contracted.
Jiang Ruan glanced at her and asked, "How do you think he would treat someone who deceived him?"
"Wait." Su Anran called out to her as she was about to leave, trying to offer something in exchange for her own safety. "Don't you want to know how I fooled Huo Zhizhou?"
Jiang Ruan simply said two words: "I don't want to."
Upon closer examination, Su Anran's actions were not entirely without precedent.
Only her parents and Su Zhu knew about this. The only way Su Anran probably found out was when she overheard Su Zhu talking on the phone during college.
When she returned to her dorm on the weekend, no one was there. Just then, Su Zhu was in the mood to write a script, so she asked her about the story from her childhood, and she told her about the general experience and process.

Jiang Ruan ignored her and walked out with her bag.
She hadn't taken two steps when two tall, burly men surrounded her. She turned around, and two more surrounded her from behind.
“I didn’t want to make things difficult for you either.” Su Anran stood between the two bodyguards, gritting her teeth, “But you knew everything and then told Huo Zhizhou.”
"What do you want to do?" Jiang Ruan asked without changing her expression.
The more she acted this way, the more unhappy Su Anran became.
This led to her becoming even more extreme: "Do you know what I hate most about you right now?"
Jiang Ruan thought she was sick.
It's not light.
"You're clearly in a precarious situation, yet you're pretending to be a composed young lady." Su Anran said loudly, "Have you forgotten how pathetic and cowardly you looked back in the equipment room?"
Jiang Ruan's expression remained unchanged, and she looked at her as if she were a clown.
Su Anran was provoked. What she couldn't stand the most was Jiang Ruan looking at her like that. Why was she born a young lady, pampered and favored by Huo Zhizhou, while she could only live a dark and shameful life?
Why should I?!
"Tie her up," Su Anran ordered the burly men. "Take her to the back storage room and lock her up."
"That's illegal," Jiang Ruan reminded him.
"I'm almost dead, why would I care about breaking the law?" Su Anran sneered, her mind already insane. "Either you call Huo Zhizhou and make him promise never to hold me accountable and to protect me for the rest of his life, or I'll let these four people ruin you."
Jiang Ruan's heart is as still as water.
For no other reason than...
Her bodyguard, Mo Mo, quietly followed her in.
"You choose." Su Anran had lost her temper.
Jiang Ruan ignored her and turned to leave. When two burly men blocked her way, she looked towards the corner and said, "Mo Mo, if you don't do something, I'll call the police myself. Otherwise, it won't count as part of your performance."
"No way." Mo Mo jumped out instantly, her face serious. "It has to be calculated."
Su Anran frowned slightly.
Where did this person come from?
Did she give the bar owner money to keep everyone except Jiang Ruan out?
"Can you handle it?" Jiang Ruan glanced at Mo Mo's rather thin frame, a little worried. "If not, we'll call the police."
"You're looking down on me." Mo Mo's usually expressionless face showed a hint of seriousness. "Don't even mention four, I could easily handle ten."
Jiang Ruan: "..."
Serious people can be more boastful than them when they make a joke.
Mo Mo took off his suit jacket and placed it in Jiang Ruan's hands, but his tone was still very polite: "Please hold this for me, don't let it get dusty, it's quite expensive."
