Chapter 537 It's Time to Talk About Love
"I can smell it," Sui Sui said seriously.
Jiang Ruan paused.
Huo Zhizhou did indeed have a refreshing, light fragrance about him.
But how could there be residue even in such a short time?
"Did he contact you?" Jiang An asked.
"Hmm." Jiang Ruan didn't hide it; it wasn't anything important.
Old Master Qin leaned closer: "What do you want?"
Jiang Ruan's tone was so calm, as if she were talking about something mundane: "Apologize to me."
"Do you still want to make up with me?" Jiang An asked.
Jiang Ruan looked over, appearing quite surprised.
Jiang An remained calm, unfazed: "This is their usual trick. They think they can get away with something by apologizing."
Jiang Ruan thought about Huo Zhizhou's appearance.
That seems to be true.
“You…” Jiang An paused abruptly, then realized that Sui Sui was still there. It seemed inappropriate to speak ill of his father in front of the child, so he changed his words, “Don’t forgive too easily.”
“Yes!” Sui Sui chirped in agreement.

Jiang An was a little surprised by Sui Sui's reaction.
"Can you accept that your mommy won't reconcile with your daddy?" Old Master Qin was also surprised. He had seen children from divorced families before, and most of them cried and made a fuss about not wanting their parents to divorce. This was the first time he had seen someone like Sui Sui.

After returning to her room, Jiang Ruan took a shower. When she came out of the bathroom, she saw Jiang An waiting for her in the room.

Jiang Ruan: "I hope he stays far away from me."
She has let go of all her past relationships.

"But because of Sui Sui, it's not good to be too ruthless?" Jiang An asked tentatively.
Jiang Ruan hummed in agreement.
No matter what Sui Sui thought, she didn't want him to see her arguing with Huo Zhizhou.

"Mom knows," Jiang An smiled gently. "Get some rest."
Jiang Ruan: "You too."
After saying goodnight, Jiang An went back to her room.
She had always been afraid that her daughter wouldn't be able to let go, and that she herself would suppress her feelings, leading to emotional exhaustion.

“Mr. Huo did part of it,” Aunt Zhao explained.

Jiang Ruan and the others turned their gazes toward them.

Huo Zhizhou: "This isn't deception; it's a family of three cultivating their relationship."

"I've always treated you well." Huo Zhizhou reached out and gently pinched his cheek. "How can you be so ungrateful?"
Sui Sui argued with him: "Oh~ so not going along with you means being heartless?"
Huo Zhizhou paused.
I remembered what Jiang Ruan had said before.
"Does not doing things your way mean you're being stubborn? Does not doing things your way mean you're making me angry?"
He subconsciously looked at Jiang Ruan.
The latter focused on eating and seemed not to hear what they were talking about at all.
Ten minutes later.
Jiang Ruan put down her cutlery and said to Sui Sui, "Mommy has to go out for a while. You stay home and take good care of yourself. If anything happens, just tell Grandma."
“Okay!” Sui Sui nodded.
Jiang Ruan patted his head and went upstairs to get her bag.
As she went to the garage to get her car keys, Jiang An was already waiting there: "Are you hiding from Huo Zhizhou?"
"Sort of." Jiang Ruan was very frank with her. "I originally wanted to have him kicked out, but Sui Sui missed him a lot lately, so I decided to let the father and son get together."
Since Sui Sui is so considerate of her feelings, she should give them some space to get along.
I happened to have some free time these past two days, so I went to Chiqian to relax.
