Chapter 566 Finding New Evidence
"It's alright, as long as they chatted on the day it happened." Si Ning was quite open-minded about it.

"She said it herself?" Zhou Xu'an asked.
“I found out, and she admitted it,” Jiang Ruan said.
"No wonder." Zhou Xu'an's expression was somewhat complicated.
Jiang Ruan: "?"
Tang Bai was the first to notice something was wrong: "No wonder."
“She’s usually a very good driver, even more so than me,” Zhou Xu’an recalled of the day. “She suddenly said she wanted to go to that shopping mall. I said no, but she insisted and we went in anyway.”

"Did she say what she wanted to shop for?" Jiang Ruan searched for clues little by little.
"She said she wanted to see what they sold inside and broaden her horizons." Zhou Xu'an remembered the events of that day very clearly, after all, the trouble she had caused was too great.
Tang Bai: "What did you all go about?"
Zhou Xu'an: "They hit someone before they even went inside."
Jiang Ruan frowned slightly.

“Yes,” Zhou Xu’an replied, “Her younger brother is still studying at university here.”
"What kind of work does she do here?" Jiang Ruan continued to ask.
"She worked as an assistant at an outsourcing company." Zhou Xu'an remembered He Jia's story clearly. "The company's name seemed to be Changfeng."
Jiang Ruan looked at Mo Mo.
The latter allows for quick searching.
The answer was given in less than half a minute: "This company is related to Qin Muchuan."
Jiang Ruan felt a chill run down her spine.
Qin Muchuan specifically set up a company here, and He Jia knew her and her mother's schedule, which meant that they were being watched by Qin Muchuan's people most of the time.
No wonder her mother never let her study management when she was young.
No wonder her mother never talked about her background, only saying that she was an orphan.
If her mother tells her everything, there's no guarantee that Qin Muchuan won't do something to her.
To do something so heinous just to prepare for the transfer of property—if that were to happen, she probably wouldn't even have a chance to grow up alive.
"Is what you said true?" Jiang Ruan asked, composed herself.
“It’s all true.” Zhou Xu’an’s emotions were mixed. “If you don’t believe me, I can show you the dashcam footage from that car. It shows her stopping multiple times.”
"That's troublesome," Jiang Ruan said.
One hour later.
Zhou Xu'an gave them the dashcam.
Upon inspection, it was found that He Jia did indeed stop there several times in the ten or twenty minutes before the incident.
"Mr. Zhou, would you be willing to appear as a witness on the day of the trial?" Jiang Ruan put the dashcam back, her eyes serious. "Name your fee."
"Will this cause me trouble?" Zhou Xu'an asked.
"No," Jiang Ruan replied. "Even if there were, I would take care of it beforehand."
Qin Muchuan and Qin Luofeng wouldn't go so far as to harm Zhou Xu'an.
He was only testifying for He Jia.

“It is possible,” Zhou Xu’an said with a complicated expression. “But can this be used as evidence? She did seem a bit flustered at the time, and the dashcam recorded her frightened voice.”
"Does she act like this when something happens normally?" Jiang Ruan asked.
“No,” Zhou Xu’an said. “When she’s driving, she can calmly avoid other people who drive dangerously. She’s very composed.”
