Li Suining nodded her head. She didn't know where she was, but she could feel Bai Shian's surprise.
"Fourth brother," she tugged at the fourth brother's sleeve, "what is this place?"
Bai Shian came back to his senses and wiped the words from his forehead. For the first time, he hoped that his sister was wrong.
The Jujinlou in front of him was the largest gambling house in the imperial city. Even a naughty boy like him had never set foot here. No wonder Lao Wu didn't dare to say anything when his father asked him.
Lao Wu...is addicted to gambling?
Bai Shi'an's heart was beating violently. He once heard Lin Qingxuan mention that a distant relative of the Lin family became addicted to gambling and ended up ruining his family. It was horrible.

Bai Ruian protected his face and shouted at the top of his lungs, "I'm just settling a score for someone else."
He was so scared. Lao Si was a famous little war god. After this punch, his face must have swollen like a pig's head.
However, he waited for a while, but the fist did not fall. He looked carefully and saw Li Suining hugging the fourth brother's arm.
"Are you really settling a score with someone else?" Bai Shian confirmed again.
"Really? I still have the account book." Bai Ruian breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Li Suining with a smile, "Thank you for saving my life, sister."
Bai Shian stood up and coaxed Li Suining softly, "Don't be afraid, sister. Fourth brother just taught him a lesson. It's okay now."
Bai Ruian quickly stood up, explained the whole story, and handed the account book in his arms to Bai Shian.
