Chapter 11 Accepting Fate and Cooperating

Chapter 11 Accepting Fate and Cooperating

The light within the cave was deep and dim, the afterglow of the blazing sunset glowing wildly cast a shimmering golden glow. Green ivy grew wildly on the stone walls, its vines tangled and draped over the swing rope at the cave entrance, swaying gently in the breeze.

In the center of the cave stood a long table covered with a snow-white tablecloth, abruptly displayed, with a dazzling array of exquisite food on silver plates.

Si Tang and Fan Yi sat opposite each other, and the atmosphere was indescribably weird.

Si Tang's fingertips unconsciously rubbed the knife and fork in his hand, and he ate stiffly under Fan Yi's surveillance gaze.

This was also the first time Fan Yi had seen New Century food. He looked at it with a touch of curiosity, but he had no intention of trying it. He wasn't interested in food that had been grilled.

Watching the human in front of him eat seemed to be his real pleasure at the moment.

She sat upright, her white woven linen dress making her look incredibly well-behaved. The food she cut looked like a work of art. Fan Yi had never imagined that humans could be so delightful while eating. Perhaps this was what human books call elegance and refinement. (This deity now only had memories of a 300-year-old world, so its experience was limited.)

Under such a gaze, Si Tang felt extremely uncomfortable no matter how delicious the food in his mouth was.

After a while she put down her knife and fork and said politely, "I'm full."

Fan Yi saw the other party wipe the corner of his lips with a napkin, then lowered his head slightly, as if waiting for his next order.

Accepting fate and cooperating incredibly well.

"Are you satisfied?" Fan Yi asked in a good mood.

Si Tang nodded.

Fan Yi raised his chin slightly and asked, "Do you think I'm amazing?"

Si Tang continued to nod in cooperation.

Fan Yi felt better.

He left in such a cheerful mood, while Si Tang watched him leave with a weird look in his eyes.

Not only did Fan Yi not know what she was thinking, Si Tang also didn't know what this fish was thinking about every day.

From then on, Si Tang began to have big meals occasionally.

These foods were all collected from the ship. Si Tang had already anticipated how popular ghost stories would be in the Atlantic.

This fish really has some abilities. After being fed for several days in a row, Si Tang obediently played the role of an "obedient" and "admirer" in his eyes.

Fan Yi became increasingly dissatisfied.

Because he didn't even hear a word of Si Tang's inner thoughts. Although the game had just begun, Fan Yi was not a patient person.

Fan Yi knew this human was very courageous, so he collected a large basket of rare treasures from the sunken ship on the seabed.

"These riches are yours if you want them." He said to Si Tang in a low and seductive voice.

Si Tang looked at the cave filled with large baskets of precious gems and couldn't help but click her tongue slightly, but she knew better that it was all a trap set by the evil fish in front of her.

"So what do I need to do?"

“Be my believer.”

"If I become your believer, will you let me go?" Si Tang asked cautiously.

"No." Fan Yi rejected it outright.

"Why? I can go back to land with you, and you can eat me anytime." Si Tang began to act pitiful, "But before I'm eaten by you, I want to go home."

"You must stay in this sea area." Fan Yi insisted.

He also wanted to eat her, so how could he be allowed to escape from his control?

Fan Yi couldn't leave the Atlantic Ocean; he was exiled and imprisoned in this world, not here for fun. But he didn't intend to explain this to the human.

Si Tang just thought that he just wanted to lock her up in this sea area and play with her.

"If I stay here, these treasures will be of no use to me." Si Tang said in a low voice.

Fan Yi seemed to think about it for two seconds, then nodded. "That's right."

He raised his hand slightly, and all the jewels in the room disappeared without a trace.

He withdrew his hand, tilted his head slightly and stared at her, "Then what do you want? Besides going home. As long as you become my believer, I can help you realize any wish."

However, these temptations were too empty for Si Tang.

"I...I just want to go home." Si Tang couldn't help but whisper, his drooping eyelashes slightly covering his slightly red eyes.

Seeing this, Fan Yi's face turned cold, "You don't know what's good for you."

He left in anger today. To punish her for her disobedience, he did not leave any food, as if to let her know what her situation would be like without him.

Si Tang was hungry for a day.

Si Tang fell asleep due to hunger. When the dim light of the next morning came, Si Tang got up and washed as usual.

Then she leaned unhappily on the swing, squinting at the morning sunlight outside the cave.

Sunlight penetrated the white light shield and fell on her fingertips. From dawn to sunset, Fan Yi did not appear today.

This means that he wants her to beg for mercy and submit to him until she can no longer bear the hunger.

Si Tang got off the swing and leaned against the stone wall again, closing his eyes and thinking.

When night fell, Si Tang returned to the inner room of the cave and found that his blanket and clothes had also disappeared.

You can imagine whose masterpiece this is.

Did he intend to not only starve her to death but also freeze her to death?

Fan Yi took away all the blankets. Si Tang leaned against the stone wall. The extreme temperature difference at night made her shrink her neck.

The more he thought about it, the sadder he felt, and a bitter smile formed on the corner of his lips.

Maybe she asked for it. It turned out that as long as she showed any sign of resistance, he would become moody.

However, the hot spring in the center of the room was still steaming. Si Tang breathed a sigh of relief and went directly into the water to warm himself without taking off his clothes.

Maybe the fish forgot.

She thought silently.

Si Tang endured the hunger, lying on the edge of the hot spring, and closed his eyes...

I don’t know how long it took.

Si Tang woke with a start, her arms tingling. Her face was covered in the steam of hot spring water droplets. Her face, as innocent as a gardenia, was shrouded in mist. She opened her eyes slightly and saw Fan Yi sitting not far away.

He didn't know how long he had been sitting there, his posture was tired and lazy, he was sitting on an antique animal skin chair that he didn't know where he came from, and he was playing with a Swiss Army knife in his hand, which he probably found on a pirate ship on the sea.

He looked at her calmly as she woke up in shock.

Si Tang exhaled lightly in the mist, his voice low and soft, like a weak person.

"Master Fan Yi, I, I was wrong..."

He seemed to be in high spirits and sat up slightly. "Oh? What's wrong?"

"I shouldn't have disobeyed you."

Hearing this, Fan Yi curled the corners of his lips slightly and moved closer.
