Chapter 110 The God's Fury
Si Tang moved her wrist, but found it didn't move at all. She tried to stay calm and asked in a hoarse and low voice, "What do you want to do?"
"I want Fan Yi's blood." Ling Xubai smiled with his eyes curved, and behind him, a group of men in black with guns suddenly appeared.
He obviously came prepared.
Si Tang couldn't imagine who or what organization he was colluding with.
"Its prototype is the legendary mermaid, am I right?" Ling Xubai shook the syringe in his hand and said with a smile, "His blood can revive my heart. I will use this blood to rewrite the miracles in human history! Miss Si, what I research with its blood has the potential to subvert the entire world. I will become the creator of a new human race. Aren't you waiting to see?"
"He is a god." Si Tang suddenly raised his head, his voice surprisingly cold, "You ants are not worthy to touch his blood."
A flash of shock crossed Ling Xubai's face, but then the shock disappeared in just a second.
"God?" His smile grew wider. "Interesting, really interesting. I'd like to see how far a god would go for someone he cares about!"
After he finished speaking, he pressed a button beside him, and the next moment, a metal cage around Si Tang rose from the ground.
"Do you like this design?" Ling Xubai stood in front of the control console, his finger gently stroking a red button. "It's made of a special alloy. When powered, it can reach 300 volts."
His smile looked particularly hideous under the pale light of the laboratory.
Si Tang's face was pale. She understood Ling Xubai's purpose. He wanted to use her to threaten Fan Yi to hand over his blood.
But he was too ignorant to know how terrifying and powerful His power was. She had reminded him, but he just didn't want to believe it.
At this moment, the iron door of the warehouse suddenly made a loud noise.
Everyone turned their heads at once. The half-ton metal door had been blown open a crack by the wind.
No, it wasn't the wind. There were no windows in the warehouse, so where did the wind come from?
Ling Xubai's eyes flashed, and he quickly pulled out his special pistol and pointed it at the door. The smile on his lips remained unchanged, distorting the elegant temperament on his face.
"It seems the person we've been waiting for has finally arrived."
A ray of white light poured in from the crack in the door, casting a long and narrow streak of light on the ground.
Si Tang narrowed his eyes and saw a slender figure walking slowly in the strong light.
The completely exposed silver hair and blue eyes exuded a cold sense of oppression. When angry, thin golden lines burned in the dark blue pupils, with the bloodthirstiness unique to animal killing, and an evil look.
"Fan Yi..." Si Tang murmured.
The god stood in front of the warehouse door, his long silver-white hair moving in the wind, his blue eyes as cold as polar glaciers, his pupils erected, taking on an inhuman prismatic shape.
"You've touched someone you shouldn't have," Fan Yi said. His voice was low and pleasant, yet it carried a vibration that was beyond human hearing, causing everyone's eardrums to sting.
Ling Xubai pointed his pistol at Fan Yi's eyebrows. Not only that, all the men in black were wearing special uniforms and pointed their weapons at him.
Ling Xubai raised his other hand. That was the controller. As long as he pressed it, Si Tang in the cage would feel the pain of electric shock.
"Mr. Fan, how about we make a deal? Hand over your blood and scales, and I will let her go."
Fan Yi did not answer, but just raised one hand gently.
In an instant, the limbs of all the men in black in the warehouse began to twist and turn. Everyone's hands actually started fighting with extreme ferocity.
Everyone at this moment became weird and twisted, like a group of toys that had no control over themselves.
Fan Yi's eyes flashed with cruelty and sinister light.
They didn't even have time to scream, because the next second their jaws were ripped off by some force and tilted to one side at an impossible angle.
Si Tang's eyes widened. This was probably the first time she saw Fan Yi so angry.
In an instant, blood spread, like hell on earth.
Ling Xubai finally realized that the situation was out of control and immediately pulled the trigger. At the same time, he also pressed the controller in his hand.
The bullet failed to penetrate Fan Yi's body because it stopped in mid-air in front of Fan Yi's eyebrows, which was very strange. Then the bullet changed direction and shot towards Ling Xubai, as fast as a movie played in reverse.
"So you deserve to die." Fan Yi said the second half of the sentence softly, and hooked his finger elegantly.
Ling Xubai was shot in the heart, and his limbs twisted 180 degrees in the opposite direction. The sound of bones shattering was audible. He collapsed to the ground like a puppet, and he finally revealed an expression full of fear.
"You...you are indeed a monster..." Ling Xubai said while spitting out blood foam.
Fan Yi smiled slightly, revealing his overly sharp canine teeth. "A greedy insect like you is not worthy of knowing my identity."
He ignored the wailing kidnappers and walked straight towards the metal cage. When his fingers touched the cage posts, the alloy melted and deformed like wax at high temperature. Si Tang's wrist loosened, and the ropes that bound him were untied.
"Wife." Fan Yi squatted down, his voice returning to its usual gentleness, though the blue light in his eyes still lingered. "I'm late."
He reached out to touch her face, but Si Tang didn't move, letting him gently stroke her cheek. The air was still tinged with the faint smell of blood.
Her first reaction was concern. He was using divine power on such a large scale. If the Lord God noticed and discovered that Fan Yi had "escaped from prison", they... might be separated soon.
"I didn't expect this myself." Sensing her thoughts, Fan Yi lowered his head in bewilderment, looking incredibly distressing. "But when I saw them hurting you, I...lost control."
Si Tang looked at the man squatting beside her. His long snow-white hair covered half of his face, and his lips were tightly pursed, as if he was blaming himself for not protecting her.
Si Tang was silent for a while, his heart moved slightly, and he suddenly stretched out his fingers and hooked his snow-white long hair.
"Fan Yi..."
"Um?"
"Hold me, my legs are numb."
“…”
He was slightly startled, then immediately looked up, his dark blue eyes became lighter and a little moist.
Fan Yi reached out his hand, embraced Si Tang in his arms, and held him horizontally.
When he passed by Ling Xubai who was already dead, he lowered his eyes slightly, without any emotion in them.
"He shouldn't be alive." A white light condensed from Fan Yi's fingertips and fell on the other humans on the ground, who had been almost dismembered. "They don't deserve to live either."
"Anyone who hurts you should not exist in this world."
Si Tang just buried his face lightly in Fan Yi's arms, without any reaction at all.
indifferent.
As he walked out of the door, the sunlight penetrated the rotten branches outside the warehouse, as if green would appear in the next second. Fan Yi heard Si Tang in his arms suddenly whisper with determination.
"It doesn't matter."
"It doesn't matter how it ends."
“Seize the day.”
She said, "I'll wait for you in the next life."
