Chapter 2 Delicious Soul
Her deep, blue eyes were as deep as a rosy cloud, and her eyelashes, like butterfly wings, were tipped with the same snowy color as her silver hair. Her features were beautiful, rich and radiant. Her long, inky robe flowed like the night sky, its pattern unique and intricate. A faint shimmer of silver lines could be seen on her collar, like the tracks of stars. Her long, silver hair, flowing across her chest, was pure as snow.
His beauty lies between coldness and elegance, like a banished immortal walking out of an ancient painting.
His temperament is indifferent and suppressed, with a sense of calm madness.
She was stunned for two seconds and immediately remembered the monster she had just witnessed. Combined with this captivating face, her legs went weak and she collapsed to the ground, looking up at him in horror.
The low words he just uttered were obscure and difficult to understand. Si Tang was sure that they were not the language of the human world.
He squinted his eyes and looked at her, as if everything bloody just now had nothing to do with him. The way he looked at her was as if he was looking at an interesting toy, with a very incongruous childishness.
In the eyes of the other party, she was undoubtedly weak and embarrassed.
But the soul is fresh and delicious.
But he was full.
He seemed to know that she couldn't understand what he said. He pondered for a moment and then learned human language in an instant.
"So weak." He sneered faintly, and then Si Tang heard his suddenly cold voice ask, "Just now, did you see it?"
Si Tang subconsciously shook his head repeatedly, his eyes revealing a strong desire to survive, "No, I didn't see anything!"
He ignored her reaction, looked at her thoughtfully for a few seconds, and continued, "There's a barrier here, you're not supposed to see it."
Thinking of this, he subconsciously glanced around and found that the island was not outside the barrier.
And Si Tang was still in shock.
Barrier?
Si Tang never expected that something that only existed in novels and TV dramas would actually happen before his eyes.
From what he said, it seemed that the scene just now could not be seen outside the barrier.
And she had already seen it.....He wouldn't kill her to silence her, would he?
Si Tang shuddered with fear and subconsciously shrank back, a pure reaction of fear in the face of unknown danger.
He looked at her, his eyes seemed to be troubled for a moment, as if he was considering how to deal with her.
"In that case..."
It’s pretty good as a food reserve.
He stroked his chin lightly, his tone drawn out, but he didn't continue.
Si Tang didn't hear the second half of his sentence. The next second, he moved to her side almost instantly and grabbed her wrist.
The temperature on his wrist was frighteningly cold, not human body temperature at all. But it lasted only a few seconds. After a flash of white light, a strong gust of air passed by Si Tang's ear, and when he came to his senses, he was already in a cave.
Then Si Tang's hand was released and he was thrown onto the haystack without any mercy.
The man still stood in front of her elegantly, as graceful as a jade tree, and took out a handkerchief to wipe his hands with a look of disgust.
Pretty bad.
Si Tang: “…”
Just as her mind was racing to be alert to what the other party was going to do next, she heard him say lightly.
"You'll live here from now on."
"?"
Si Tang's hesitant gaze fell on his face, but seeing his usual clear and detached expression, he immediately recalled the hideous and huge monster just now. He reflexively looked away, not daring to look at him a second time.
He ignored her reaction, or perhaps didn't care. He snapped his fingers lightly, and candlelight lit up on the dark stone wall.
The orange light and shadow fell on his face, creating a picture of stunning beauty to the point of being enchanting, yet inexplicably giving people a sense of creepy danger.
Si Tang huddled uneasily on the haystack, countless guesses flashing through her mind. In front of the unknown power, she was undoubtedly insignificant.
What will he do next...kill her, or eat her?
In the silent atmosphere, Si Tang could feel the other person's gaze surveying him.
When Si Tang was trying to communicate something, he suddenly heard a "ding" sound.
It was he who manipulated the trident to hover in front of her.
There were still two sea fish skewered on the trident, and the next second the fish fell to the ground, and he retracted the trident.
The heavy pressure dissipated in an instant, and Si Tang subconsciously looked at him.
"Are you hungry?" He actually smiled slightly, and under the candlelight, there was a strange tenderness in his smile.
Si Tang didn't know what he meant. He hesitated for a moment, but didn't dare to refuse and nodded honestly.
The other person's smile deepened, and his clear blue eyes looked deep in the dim light.
"Then eat it." His eyes fell on the sea fish in front of her, and the meaning was self-evident.
Si Tang looked at him for two seconds, and at this moment he felt a strong sense of hunger in his stomach.
It looked like he wasn't going to kill her yet.
Si Tang squatted down, picked up the sea fish, carefully picked out the grass debris on it, looked at him again, and made sure that he did not detect any murderous intent in his eyes, and relaxed a little.
She looked around, trying to find any materials or tools to start a fire, when she heard his cool voice.
"What are you looking for?"
"Fire." She pointed to the fish in her hand. Seeing a flicker of confusion in his eyes, she continued, "We... don't eat it raw, we eat it cooked."
"What's the difference?" He seemed to be recalling something, but he was really asking out of curiosity.
After all, he only eats raw food.
Si Tang was sure that he was still an unknown monster without any human common sense.
She explained, "Human stomachs are fragile, and marine fish can harbor parasites, viruses, and bacteria. Eating them raw...can be life-threatening."
"It's really a degraded survival ability."
He clicked his tongue and looked at Si Tang again, thinking silently.
Well, it's better to cook it slowly with fine bran. It would be a shame if it died.
Of course, Si Tang had no idea which words had offended him. He was surprisingly easy to talk to. A white light flashed from his fingertips, and a pile of firewood began to burn in front of Si Tang.
Si Tang slowly grilled the sea fish in his hand, and from time to time he glanced at him who was sitting on a stone bench not far away.
"You won't kill me?" she asked curiously in a low voice.
"Kill you?" He curled his lips and just shook his head.
It’s boring to eat it after killing it, it’s fresher to eat it alive.
Si Tang, who didn't know what the other party was thinking, felt relieved when she got his denial. She thought to herself that since he was so powerful and possessed unknown powers, it would be easy for him to help her leave here and return to land. But could she convince him?
And he...will really let her go?
She didn't know why, but she felt uneasy.
At this time, the fish in Si Tang's hand was roasted, and the delicious aroma of the meat spread. Si Tang was very hungry and began to eat it voraciously.
However, her upbringing made her eat with great grace and decorum. The man observed her with interest in the candlelight.
It was indeed different from all the humans in his three hundred years of memory.
In his impression, human beings are greedy, cowardly, vulgar, and ugly, with rough features and dark skin.
How could this girl in front of me be so delicate and tender, with exquisite and beautiful facial features, skin whiter than snow, and black eyes like a pool of clear spring water?
And the most important thing is...
What a clean soul, he thought, looks delicious.
It's just that I'm too thin. I need to take better care of myself.
Si Tang finished eating the first fish, touched his stomach with satisfaction, and thought to himself, it’s a good thing he doesn’t seem to eat people.
But the next second, he could be heard sighing softly as if reminiscing about the past.
"It's been a while since I've eaten a human. Your soul smells delicious."
"......" The wooden stick in Si Tang's hand fell.
He looked over, licked his lips, and smiled at her. His handsome face, which had originally been cold and holy, instantly became evil and demonic. In Si Tang's eyes, he looked like a deadly ghost.
