Before Dongfang Mian could ask any questions, she was pulled into that dark space. After taking a few steps forward, the surroundings suddenly became bright. Looking around, Dongfang Mian was dumbfounded.
He was clearly in a treasure trove, with piles of spirit coins as big as small mountains, hundreds of high-level spirit weapons casually tossed aside like junk, and a broken basket full of rare spirit herbs that he could kick over at will.
Dongfang Mian pinched herself hard. Could this be a dream? A sharp pain shot through her arm. It was all real.
"Hua Qianxun, did you see that... here..." Dongfang Mian's excited voice suddenly fell silent. Hua Qianxun was not beside her; Dongfang Mian was the only one in the huge secret room.
Where did all those people who came in earlier go?
Could it be another random teleportation?
Dongfang Mian was completely baffled. She decided to stop thinking about it; the treasure was right beside her, and it would be foolish not to take it.
As he reached for the nearest pile of spirit coins, Hua Qianxun's voice suddenly rang in his ears, "Silly cotton, you're going to drive me crazy! You can only take one item from this secret room before you're teleported out, so pick the most valuable one!"
Dongfang Mian was startled by the sudden sound, her fingertips almost touching a spirit coin. Whew, that was close! If she had been teleported away with a spirit coin in her hand, she probably would have wanted to find a block of tofu and kill herself.
Withdrawing her hand, Dongfang Mian re-examined the entire secret room, her eyes carefully scanning every inch of the space. What, then, was the most valuable thing?
Who knows how painful it is to have countless treasures piled up in front of you, but you can only choose one?
Dongfang Mian looked at the treasures she had eliminated with great heartache, her eyes sweeping over the remaining treasures once more.
Hmm? What's that?
In the corner, a dirty-looking blue stone lay quietly. Looking at its familiar shape, Dongfang Mian was excited to go up and try it.
Just as he was about to excitedly grab it, he hesitated again. What if it wasn't? What if it was just an ordinary stone? Wouldn't he have lost out?
To take or not to take? To gamble or not to gamble? This is truly a thought-provoking question.
"Hurry up, you're taking a dump in there, I can't hold on much longer, get out in three breaths," Hua Qianxun's cursing voice rang in my ears again.
In her haste, Dongfang Mian didn't hesitate any longer and reached out to grab the blue stone. The moment she touched it, a pulling force came from it.
The next second, Dongfang Mian was standing outside the small palace again, facing the dark doorway again. The only difference was that she now held a blue stone in her hand.
"Why are you dawdling like a woman? If you had come out any later, I would have died here," Hua Qianxun said irritably.
"We girls call this being thoughtful, okay? Besides, how could you possibly... die here..." Turning her head, Dongfang Mian was startled by Hua Qianxun's new look.
"Were you struck by lightning? My God, where did you go doing something so wicked? How could you be so unlucky?"
With her hair scorched as if struck by lightning, Hua Qianxun said irritably, "The worst thing that ever happened to me was meeting you, bringing you back to Tianyin Valley, taking you to this secret place, and even getting injured to help you break the restrictions of the secret room so you could choose the treasure first."
"You mean you broke the barrier so I could enter that treasure vault? Nobody else can get in?" Dongfang Mian asked, blinking her eyes.
