Chapter 380 Borrowing a Flag

"That's great! Thank you!" Dongfang Mian exclaimed excitedly, and gave Hua Qianxun a hug.

The hug lasted only a breath, yet it made Hua Qianxun feel as if something indescribable had happened to her.

A murderous gaze swept over, and there was no doubt that it was Yan Lin, whose face was as black as ink. Hua Qianxun made a big face at him.

Unaware of this scene, Dongfang Mian was still immersed in the joy of obtaining the Jade Dragon Marrow, never expecting that the trip to the Ghost Realm would go so smoothly.

"Alright, let's go back," Dongfang Mian said, only to realize that the teleportation array they had used to get there had broken down sometime ago.

"Sorry, I just accidentally..." Ironclad said, scratching his head.

"It's alright, I'll just set it up again," Dongfang Mian said, waving her hand.

Then everyone saw her freeze in place, her hand gesture seemingly about to take out another array flag, but she hesitated to move.

Ah Ju jumped onto her shoulder, waved her little tiger paw in front of her eyes, and said, "Ah Mian, what's wrong with you?"

Dongfang Mian then looked at everyone and said with an embarrassed smile, "Well, it's nothing serious, we just ran out of array flags. Does anyone have any array flags they can borrow?"

"..."

Everyone was speechless. Which array master doesn't have thousands or even tens of thousands of array flags? They're not exactly valuable items.

Everyone confidently searched their storage rings, then looked at each other, shook their heads, and said, "I don't have any."

“Then it seems we only have one way out,” Dongfang Mian said.

"What method?"

"It's about walking out of the treasure cave, reaching the entrance, and then we're out," Dongfang Mian said, trying to sound casual.

"That's a great idea... I just hope the people coming in from outside won't be scared to death by us," Ironclad muttered to himself.

But it was clear that Tie Jia's status was not much different from Yan Lin's, and no one listened to his concerns. Instead, they began to search for the exit of the secret vault with great interest.

For them, now that they had the goods, the rest was just an adventure.

Soon, they found the seal on the secret vault in a corner. This seal was no match for Hua Qianxun. Although he couldn't use the power of the God Lord casually in the human world, breaking this seal was still a piece of cake.

They soon arrived at the passage outside the secret vault, where there were nine paths in total, and clearly not all of them were safe.

Unsurprisingly, Hua Qianxun chose the path that Ahua found agreeable and continued down that path.

Soon they reached the end of the road, where there was a calm pool of water.

Dongfang Mian tested the water and found it to be non-toxic. The group waded across one by one. There was only one path on the other side of the water, so they continued walking without hesitation. After walking for a while, another water appeared in front of them. Dongfang Mian tested it first again before the others crossed it one by one.

"This emperor is really strange, making so many pools of water in his treasure cave," Aju couldn't help but complain, he didn't like the feeling of being all wet.

But soon, a third pool appeared before them.

“I think something seems to be wrong here,” Hua Qianxun said.

“I think so too, these pools all look exactly the same,” Dongfang Mian said.

“It’s more accurate to say that these pools are all one thing; we’ve been walking the same path all along,” Hua Qianxun said.

Everyone then realized that there must be a ghost at work, otherwise, with their abilities, they wouldn't have been fooled by such a simple illusion.
