Chapter 79 There's a Great Beauty Over There

After saying that, Dongfang Mian continued walking forward without waiting for his response. Yuwen Hao followed behind Dongfang Mian in silence, looking hurt.

Dongfang Mian was not fooled by his little tricks. From the moment Yuwen Hao said that there would only be the two of them on this mission, Dongfang Mian had a feeling that she had fallen into a trap. Not to mention that even though Yuwen Hao was enthusiastic on the surface, he never hid the desire in his eyes when he looked at Dongfang Mian.

"A-Mian, that kid is leering at you from behind. It's disgusting, shameless! Ugh! Should we just beat him to death right here? There are plenty of pits in this ravine, so we won't have to dig them ourselves," A-Ju muttered through the contract.

"Don't act rashly. Since he arranged all this, he must have something to rely on. I wonder what the situation is with Yan Lin's mission. And what the hell is 'A Mian'? It sounds awful. You should call me master," Dongfang Mian thought to herself.

“Calling me ‘Master’ sounds too formal. ‘A-Mian’ sounds so nice. I’ve been thinking about it for days. If you don’t like it, I have two other options: ‘Mian-Mian’ and ‘Xiao-Mian’,” A-Ju said thoughtfully.

"Uh... I think Ah Mian is better. I just thought about it and I think it sounds pretty good," Dongfang Mian said speechlessly.

"Haha, I knew you'd like it. This divine beast is quite skilled," Aju said smugly, then seemed to remember something and said, "Amian, I bet there's a great beauty on Rin's side. Do you remember that bitch who tried to steal Rin away the other day? She seems to be the same kind of scumbag as this guy today. They might even be in cahoots."

"Impossible, the Mission Hall is an inner courtyard of the Vermilion Bird Academy. It can't be so easily controlled by one person," Dongfang Mian thought it was unlikely.

"Hmph, naive. Are you scared? Afraid that Rin-sama won't be able to control herself when faced with such a beauty?" Aju asked with a mischievous grin.

"I will tell your Lord Rin exactly what you said," Dongfang Mian said confidently.

"Waaah~ I was wrong, I was just saying it casually, you should forget it! Forget it!" Aju shook Dongfang Mian's head.

The two, a man and a cat, were playfully fighting as if no one else was around, completely ignoring Yuwen Hao, who had a gloomy expression on his face behind them.

Yuwen Hao's face was so dark it was almost dripping ink. He had never been ignored by a woman like this before, not to mention that the dead cat would turn around and glare at him every now and then. If he didn't want to resort to force, Yuwen Hao would have already buried that fat cat in the pit on the spot.

After walking for a long time, they finally arrived at the place indicated by the mission. In the distance, a courtyard could be faintly seen standing in the mountains. The two did not say anything more, found a secluded spot to hide, and waited quietly.

About two hours later, Dongfang Mianbei, who was quietly cultivating, was startled by a cry for help. Looking closely, she saw two men in black, each holding a rope, with young girls strung together like candied hawthorns and being pulled forward.

In response to the women's cries, the man in black coldly said, "Go ahead and scream. No one will come to save you in this godforsaken place."

Soon, the man in black led the girls away from Dongfang Mian's sight. Dongfang Mian adjusted her breathing and slowly followed. Seeing this, Yuwen Hao made a gesture behind his back and followed as well.

Perhaps the girls' crying was so irritating to the men in black that they were only focused on getting them back as quickly as possible, and neither of them paid attention to the commotion behind them.
