"Why are you laughing? Isn't it delicious?"
Lu Xingchen glanced at him sideways and thought that Gu Jingyu was just being picky.

Gu Jingyu's face was filled with black lines. "I didn't say it wasn't delicious, it's just a little worse. It's not as delicious as the one in the old house."
Lu Xingchen hummed and ate with relish.
"If I had known we'd be back so early, I would have asked Mom to bring food here."
Gu Jingyu didn't know whether to laugh or cry, "Why didn't you tell me earlier? You could have called her on the way back."
Lu Xingchen looked at him and sighed, "I just forgot."

Gu Jingyu's cell phone vibrated. Seeing that it was Gu Xiaoxiao calling, Gu Jingyu didn't answer.
After a few seconds it rang again.
Seeing that he still didn't answer, Lu Xingchen frowned.

On the other side, Gu Xiaoxiao was so angry that she was fuming. She had been searching for Gu Jingyu for the whole morning but couldn't find him.

Gu Xiaoxiao ran into the company with a furious look on her face, got into the elevator, and rushed to the president's office on the top floor.
"Gu Jingyu!"
Gu Xiaoxiao saw her elder brother standing at the door and shouted angrily.
