Gu Xiaoxiao's mouth twitched, "I can take better care of my sister-in-law than you."
Gu Jingyu snorted lightly, "But my wife needs me, go back and don't disturb her rest here."

He called the bodyguard outside to come in.

The bodyguard came in quickly to help, and Gu Jingyu then carried her back to the bed.
Lu Xingchen lay back on the bed, feeling much more comfortable.
"You should go to bed too. It's getting late."
Seeing that Gu Jingyu didn't seem to be planning to go to bed yet, she reminded him.
"I'll go to bed after you lose, so go to bed now."
Gu Jingyu lay on his side, touched her face lovingly, and coaxed her softly.
Lu Xingchen rubbed against his arms like a little kitten.

He bent down and kissed her forehead, then pulled up the quilt, closed his eyes, and went to sleep with her.
Lu Xingchen's lips curled up, and she felt much more at ease when she smelled the familiar scent on the man.
After a while she fell asleep again.
But the man opened his eyes and was not sleepy at all.
Gu Jingyu stopped looking at his phone and just stayed with her, worried that she would move around and get her needle slipped.
It was not until she finished the infusion and the nurse came in to remove the needle that Gu Jingyu really lay down to sleep.
Even when he fell asleep, he carefully protected Lu Xingchen and did not dare to sleep too deeply.
In the early hours of the morning, an inexplicable chill came.
Very weird.
The bodyguard at the door couldn't help but shiver and touched the goose bumps on his arms.
