"What's going on?" Geng Ying lowered her voice. "Tang Song never publicly acknowledged you? Then how did he introduce you to others when he took you to Xue Qinfeng's birthday party?"
"It seems... there wasn't an introduction," Zhu Hao said hesitantly.
At that birthday party, because of the disruption caused by the Fang family father and son, she was completely isolated from the crowd by Tang Song. Anyone who tried to approach her, regardless of gender, was turned away by Zhu Qingqing, who didn't even introduce her identity.
Geng Ying's brows furrowed more and more, and her gaze toward Zhu Hao became increasingly serious.
The atmosphere around us froze, with wisps of smoke rising from the grill, creating a quiet and immersive atmosphere.
Zhu Hao hesitated, rolling her eyes. Sensing Geng Ying's chilling aura, she cautiously asked, "What's wrong?"
Is something wrong?
Although they haven't officially announced it, haven't the people and wolves around them already tacitly accepted their relationship?
When she went out in the morning, she accidentally heard Xiaoxue call her the Wolf Lord's wife.
It seems that five years later, it was already an open secret that she became Tang Song's partner.
Aside from Tang Qiao seemingly disagreeing, she didn't do anything excessive.
Geng Ying was furious when she saw Zhu Hao's bewildered expression.
She tapped Zhu Hao's forehead, exasperated, "You idiot!!"
Zhu Hao blinked, rubbed his forehead, and pouted without saying a word.
Geng Ying sighed softly, "It's not your fault that you've never been in a relationship."
Zhu Hao tilted her head, her neat bangs swept to one side, revealing her smooth forehead.
Geng Ying raised his hand to tidy her messy hair, and like an elder, he lectured her, "If you don't make your relationship public, it means that the other person doesn't take you seriously at all. To put it simply, it means that they don't intend to be serious about you and just want to play around."
"I don't think so," Zhu Hao interjected cautiously, trying to explain, "He's not that kind of person."
Geng Ying rolled her eyes.
She had only heard of the term "love brain" before, but had never seen it.
Now look what's happened; the person closest to me is a hopeless romantic.
Still the ultimate love-obsessed person!
Geng Ying met Zhu Hao's probing gaze with a speechless expression. "He's not that kind of person? You trust him that much?"
Under Geng Ying's sharp questioning, Zhu Hao didn't dare to refute, but secretly picked at the leather cushion on the seat, nodding inwardly.
She did trust Tang Song, but didn't dare say so under Geng Ying's powerful aura.
Geng Ying seemed to have opened a floodgate of words, rattling off a string of them: "Not making it official is an irresponsible act."
"Even if Tang Song is ten years older than you and doesn't understand young people's ways, it's one thing if he doesn't know how to post on social media to officially announce it, but he can't even do something as basic as telling everyone about your relationship. This isn't just a romantic relationship he has with you..."
Geng Ying choked on his words, suddenly realizing that those two words were inappropriate, and swallowed them back.
Zhu Hao also realized what she wanted to say.
The atmosphere between the two became tense.
For a moment, the corner was so quiet that only the sizzling sound of grilled meat could be heard.
“No,” Zhu Hao said firmly, “No.”
Geng Ying opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but meeting Zhu Hao's stubborn little face, she sighed softly, "You..."
After saying his best wishes, he silently picked up the tongs, removed the burnt meat, and placed it on Geng Ying's plate.
Geng Ying couldn't help but laugh out loud at her actions, "Are you getting revenge on me?"
He pursed his lips and didn't say anything.
"Alright, stop looking unhappy. I'm not saying anything bad about Tang Song, nor am I questioning you."
"I just hope you don't get scammed."
"After all, the other party is no ordinary person; he is the president of the Tang Group, who can control everything."
Zhu Hao picked the charred piece of meat out of Geng Ying's plate and placed it on an empty plate beside him, saying in a muffled voice, "I know, but he's not that kind of person."
Geng Ying pursed her lips and looked at the piece of roasted meat on the plate. It was pitch black, and she could even smell the charcoal.
She paused, then a thought crossed her mind. "Why don't you just ask him directly, what does he really think of you?"
Zhu Hao's hand holding the clip froze, and she vaguely heard that clear, high-pitched cry of "Cub!" in her ear.
Her lips twitched, she put down the clips in her hand, and felt completely awful.
What else could Tang Song consider her to be?
Be a cub!
At least for now!
“You are doing this…” Geng Ying leaned closer to Zhu Hao, furtively covering her ears, and whispered their plot.
Zhu Hao's brow furrowed deeper and deeper, and finally she looked up in surprise, "This...is this alright?"
"Sure!" Geng Ying patted Zhu Hao on the shoulder readily. "Just do as I say!"
Zhu Hao bit her lower lip and nodded hesitantly.

Fang's Group.
The office space was cluttered, with desks and chairs overturned and various documents and scraps of paper scattered on the floor.
A uniformed public official routinely inventories all the property in the office and directs his subordinates to move things out.
"Don't move! Don't move!" Mr. Fang frantically blocked the people, roaring furiously, "These are all my things!! What right do you have to take them away! Put them all down!"
Mr. Fang lunged at one of the public officials who was holding a vase, yelling shrilly, "Don't take it! Do you know how much I paid for this at the auction?!"
You could work your whole life and still not be able to buy it!
The person holding the vase looked awkwardly at the leader in the middle of the office.
Mr. Fang followed his gaze, his pupils contracting. "President Li!! President Li! You promised you'd help me! How come I'm bankrupt now!?"
The man, referred to as President Li, straightened his black jacket and slowly adjusted his glasses. "President Fang has to be responsible for his words and can't just say things carelessly. I've never said anything like that."
Mr. Fang suddenly fell silent, his gaze toward President Li turning sinister and terrifying.
Mr. Li coughed lightly, glanced around the office, and said, "Your own investment project failed, you embezzled public funds, lost everything, and are now bankrupt. What does that have to do with me?"
"It was you!" Mr. Fang screamed, losing all composure. "You're the one who led me to invest! You said this project would guarantee a 100% return! That it would allow me to rise to the top of Beicheng! It's all your fault! You ruined me!"
"I have no grudge against you! Why did you try to harm me?!"
Mr. Li casually brushed the dust off his sleeves. "I never said any of these things. It's all your own speculation. You went to great lengths to snatch the project; it has nothing to do with me."
After saying this, Mr. Li ignored Mr. Fang's accusations and left, leaving behind the words, "Take everything out, don't leave him anything."
"yes!"
Click, the door closed.
Fang's father's screams were also drowned out.
Downstairs, a black Rolls-Royce was parked in the corner.
Mr. Li walked slowly toward that car.
In the back seat, two men with similar auras sat side by side.
"The Fang family has collapsed. I did everything you said. Aren't you going to say thank you?"
Tang Song's sharp features were hidden in the shadows as he said in a deep voice, "Thank you."
