Chapter 181 Recording Discovered

Tang Wu slightly raised his eyes, meeting Tang Song's expectant gaze, and silently took the glass bottle from his hand. "I'll try..."

He could clearly feel that the air around him became lighter the moment he finished speaking.

"Wolf Lord, Madam Nan is waiting for me to do her fortune telling. I'll go up first..." Tang Wu stuffed the bottle into his pocket.

"Now." Tang Song looked at him intently, her tone becoming more forceful and leaving no room for argument.

Tang Wu's eyebrows twitched. "Wolf Lord...but...Aa ...

Before he could finish speaking, Tang Wu felt a large hand grab his neck, and his body was thrown into the air.

In the blink of an eye, the two figures in the back garden disappeared.

"Tang the Wizard? Tang the Wizard?" The servants in the villa hurriedly came out of the villa, searched around but could not find Tang the Wizard, only a few red chili peppers scattered on the ground.

The maid picked up the chili pepper, scratched the back of her head in confusion, and ran into the villa. "Madam? It seems that Wizard Tang has already left."

Mental hospital.

Mr. Fang had just paid the hospital fees downstairs and was about to go upstairs when a nurse suddenly stopped him.

"Are you a family member of Fang Ling in ward 301?"

Mr. Fang paused, looking at her warily. "Are you a reporter?"

He had already kept the news of Fang Ling's hospitalization a secret, fearing that it would negatively impact her future career development and also damage the image of the Fang Group.

The nurse rolled her eyes, handed him the transparent file folder without any emotion, and said in a cold tone, "These are the things Fang Ling left behind when she changed into her hospital gown."

The nurse turned and left after speaking, completely ignoring him.

Mr. Fang lowered his eyes suspiciously, staring at the pile of rubbish in the transparent bag in his arms.

A diamond bracelet that was broken in half, a pearl necklace stained with mud, and some miscellaneous broken diamonds, tangled with silk threads, looked messy and cheap.

Mr. Fang frowned slightly, glanced at the bag with disdain, and was about to put it away when he inadvertently caught a glimpse of the red light emanating from it.

His eyes narrowed, and he quickly hid the bag in his clothes. He looked around warily, and when he saw no one paying attention to him, he immediately went upstairs to the ward.

Ward 301.

Fang Ling sat quietly on the hospital bed with her hair down, staring blankly out the window, her fingertips clutching the blanket and rubbing it incessantly.

Fang's father sat opposite Fang Ling, holding a tattered bracelet and necklace in his hand.

"Fang Ling?" Fang's father asked tentatively, waving his hand in front of her.

Fang Ling's eyes remained unmoved, as if she hadn't seen him at all.

Mr. Fang frowned and cautiously walked to the door, peering into the corridor to make sure no one was outside. He then turned the lock to lock the door before walking heavily to Fang Ling's side.

He stared at Fang Ling's pale face, paused for a moment, then took out the transparent file bag the nurse had given him earlier, carefully took out the bracelet inside, and handed it to Fang Ling.

When he discovered the voice recorder inside the bracelet and necklace, he immediately opened them to take a look. He tried to open them, but found that they were password protected, and they were the latest type of voice recorder that would automatically destroy the data if the password was forcibly cracked.

He had no choice but to come up and ask Fang Ling.

He couldn't be sure whether someone else had put this thing on Fang Ling or whether Fang Ling had put it on herself.

If it were someone else, it would most likely be a business rival trying to take advantage of Fang Ling to steal the secrets of the Fang Group.

But... it would be strange if it were Fang Ling herself.

He couldn't understand what could have driven the naive and innocent Fang Ling to come up with such a method—secretly recording audio.

Perhaps there are important things he doesn't know!

"Xiaoling? This is your stuff. There's a miniature voice recorder inside. Did you put it there yourself? What's the password? Tell me."

Fang Ling still didn't react.

Mr. Fang took a deep breath and took out the necklace again. "What about the password for the voice recorder inside this?"

Fang Ling's pupils trembled slightly as her gaze shifted to the necklace. A hint of confusion flashed in her eyes, and then she looked up at her father with bewilderment.

Her pale lips moved slightly, and she slowly uttered a few words, "Don't kill me..."

"Ah!!!!" Fang Ling suddenly screamed, covering her head with her hands, bending her legs, and shrinking into the headboard.

His trembling appearance suggested he was terrified.

Mr. Fang frowned, feeling as if his eardrums were about to burst.

A series of hurried footsteps sounded outside the door, and Fang Ling's scream attracted the doctors and nurses. There was a knock on the ward door.

Mr. Fang quickly put the item away and went to open the door.

After receiving a sedative injection, Fang Ling calmed down.

Mr. Fang stared intently at Fang Ling, who was sleeping soundly on the bed, and then followed the attending physician out.

The doctor flipped through the medical records, glanced sideways at Mr. Fang, curled his lip in disdain, and said in a cold tone, "Ms. Fang's condition is already very serious. Try not to agitate her any further, otherwise the treatment process will slow down, or she may not recover at all."

Mr. Fang nodded hastily and said, "Thank you for your help, doctor. I have something to attend to, so I'll be leaving now."

As soon as he finished speaking, Mr. Fang's figure disappeared at the end of the corridor.

The ward door closed, and several nurses pushed out a cart, glancing with disdain in the direction where Fang's father had disappeared.

"Your daughter is already so sick, and you're still deliberately trying to upset her. Isn't that just trying to make her life miserable?"

"No wonder she's an adopted daughter; blood ties are so important."

"That's right, that's right. When I was watching the show before, I really liked the junior sister played by Fang Ling. I even did some research online and saw that after the Fang family found their biological daughter, they didn't treat their adopted daughter very well."

"Oh? The Fang family is really no good!"

"It's more than that! It feels like they only treat this daughter as a money-making tool and don't care about anything else. I have inside information that Fang Ling is clearly engaged to a rich young man, and the two are in love, but Fang's parents disapprove of him and insist that Fang Ling go and marry that Tang family!"

"Ugh!? It's disgusting to have adoptive parents like that!"

After leaving the hospital, Mr. Fang rushed to the company's technology center without stopping.

Three hours later.

The top-floor office of the Fang Group.

With a snap, the necklace broke, and a sharp, arrogant, and somewhat blindly excited female voice rang out.

"You are the Wolf King, and I have evidence to prove your identity!..."

"As long as you dump Zhu Hao..."

The recording is very short, only one minute long.

The story ends with the sound of a heavy object hitting the ground.

Mr. Fang stared silently at the broken necklace on the table.

The woman's voice was familiar; it was Fang Ling's voice. Even though it was distorted and contorted, he wouldn't mistake it.

He was now almost certain that Fang Ling had placed the recording pen herself to record this conversation.

Mr. Fang remained calm, but his fingertips trembled uncontrollably as he transferred the recording to the computer.

One minute later.

He looked at the encrypted folder on his computer desktop, his thoughts returned, and his mind began to work.

What did he just hear?

Tang Song was a wolf! ? ?

Not human?

Is he crazy? Or is Fang Ling crazy?
