Chapter 8 Tang Song is still young

She picked up the notebook in front of her and turned to a new page.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Xiao Ye's expression, as if she had a lot to say. He smiled slightly, and a shallow dimple appeared on his cheek.

She pushed the notebook in front of Xiao Ye.

"Could I ask what kind of person the old wizard is? Can heal the sick?"

Xiao Ye lay on the table, her head resting on her arm, tilting her head to look at Zhu Hao, "Grandpa Wizard knows many things, healing, prophecy, changing forms..."

Xiaoyan chimed in, "Grandpa Wizard is amazing. My dad was almost dead, and Grandpa Wizard saved him."

Zhu Hao's eyes flickered slightly, and she quickly wrote, "Does that 2% chance of recovery mean it can be cured or it can't be cured?"

"Of course it can!" Xiao Ye said firmly. "When the wizard grandpa saved my dad, he said there was only a 1% chance!"

“It’s 10%!” Xiaoyan emphasized.

"1%!" Xiao Ye affirmed. "You were young then, it's normal that you can't remember!"

Xiaoyan pouted and didn't say anything more.

Zhu Hao was a little confused, "Are you all the same father?"

“Yes.” Xiaoyan pointed at Xiaoye, “Xiaoye and I have the same parents.”

Zhu Hao blinked in confusion. Do wolf siblings always call each other by their names?

Xiao Ye seemed to understand her confusion, leaned closer, and whispered, "Xiao Yan is a little tyrant. She wants to be the older sister and has never called me 'brother'!"

Nod in best wishes.

Xiao Yan stretched out her small, white fist and smacked Xiao Ye hard on the head, "You're the little tyrant! Your whole family are little tyrants!"

"Awooo~" Xiao Ye wailed, covering her head and shrinking towards Zhu Hao's side, "My whole family has you! You're still the little tyrant!"

Xiaoyan stood with her hands on her hips, her brows furrowed, and the red tips of her ears became even more vibrant as she trembled with anger.

Little Snow cheered enthusiastically from the sidelines, waving her little fists and wagging her white tail merrily from side to side. She seemed to enjoy the spectacle even more, shouting, "Fight! Fight! Fight!"

Xiao Ye's ears twitched, she closed her eyes, and immediately squatted down to hide under the table.

Zhu Hao opened her mouth in surprise, pulled her legs back, and quickly reached out to pull him, but accidentally touched his ear.

The black and white mandarin duck's ears immediately turned blood red, startling them so much that their feathers bristled.

He darted outside the pavilion in a flash, covered his ears, and stared at Zhu Hao with a hesitant expression.

Zhu Hao, at a loss, twirled her fingers and glanced at his ear.

She quickly waved her hand and apologized, saying she really didn't mean it.

She just wanted to prevent Xiao Ye from crawling under the table, as she might bump her head.

Xiaoyan looked at Xiaoye's bright red ears and laughed so hard she couldn't stand up straight.

Xiaoxue laughed along, not understanding why.

*

Stop the horseplay.

Xiao Ye sat upright at the table, silently moved the stool under her, and moved closer to Zhu Hao.

Zhu Hao breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the scene, which had become somewhat peaceful.

The kids' thoughts jump around too much, and they easily stray from the topic.

She dared not ask any more irrelevant or digressive questions.

Zhu Hao moved the notebook in front of Xiao Ye and realized that Xiao Ye was very close to her, their arms touching.

She didn't pay attention, assuming that Xiao Ye was afraid that Xiao Yan would continue to hit him.

Best wishes: "So, does the 2% cure rate mean that it can be cured?"

Xiao Ye's face was tense, but she nodded reservedly, "Yes."

Zhu Xinjian was overjoyed, which means that her deafness and muteness can be cured.

When her gaze fell upon Xiaoxue's fluffy ears across from her, she hesitated.

The old witch was an old witch from the wolf clan; she was human...

Can these be the same?

Zhu Hao poked Xiao Ye with his fingertip, "Can that old wizard heal humans?"

After hesitating for a moment, Xiao Ye honestly shook her head, "I don't know, I've never seen an old wizard heal humans."

Zhu Hao looked downcast, seemingly still unsure whether his deafness and muteness could truly be cured.

Undeterred, she continued, "Is the only wolf in the wolf pack capable of healing, the old wizard?"

"Grandpa old wizard isn't a wolf, hooray!" Xiaoxue finally encountered a problem she knew how to solve and seized the opportunity to speak up, "He's a rabbit!"

I was taken aback when I heard this.

Rabbit...rabbit!?

A rabbit over four hundred years old with the face of a high school student, living among wolves!?!?

Zhu Hao felt like his worldview had been shattered.

Can wolves and rabbits coexist?!

Xiao Ye licked her lips and explained considerately, "Grandpa Old Wizard once saved Uncle Wolf Lord's father, who was the previous Grandpa Wolf Lord, so he stayed. Everyone respects him very much. He is the oldest in the wolf clan! Over four hundred years old! Our wolf clan only lives to five hundred years old on average."

Zhu Hao hesitated as he touched the spicy snack-flavored notebook with the tip of his pen.

Well... the four-hundred-year-old wizard is indeed a very old man...

Best wishes: "So, at what age do you consider yourself an adult?"

She had always wondered why Tang Song treated her like a child; she could understand it, after all, Tang Song was ten years older than her.

But why do these three little ones around her treat her like a baby?

Xiaoxue is old enough to call her aunt.

"Twenty-five years old!" Zhu Hao said to Xiao Xue opposite him, raising her two small hands and awkwardly bending her fingertips to show a two and a five.

Zhu Hao paused, taken aback.

Can she speak? Xiaoxue's strange movements, coupled with her current serious expression, are striking.

This twenty-five... is a bit like... twenty-fifty.

"Twenty-five years old means the wolf cub has reached adulthood and will have one estrus cycle per year," Xiao Ye explained considerately, sitting upright beside her. "It's time to find a mate."

After she finished speaking, the tips of Xiao Ye's ears turned a little red, and the tip of her tail trembled sensitively.

Nodding in understanding, I wish you well.

No wonder all the wolves thought she was a cub; it turns out she was under twenty-five.

But she's already an adult in the human world!!

If we calculate it that way, Tang Song was only five years old when he came of age.

So young!

Whoosh~

The bushes in the backyard suddenly rustled. Zhu Hao caught a glimpse of it out of the corner of his eye, but assumed it was just the wind and didn't pay any attention.

Xiaoyan tugged at Zhuhao's sleeve and pointed to the bushes in the backyard that had just moved slightly. "The wolf clan also has a witch sister. The old witch grandfather retired a long time ago! Now when we're sick, we go to the witch sister. The witch sister is a wolf, howl~ and she's red!"

Following Xiaoyan's fingertip, Zhuhao could only catch a fleeting glimpse of a red figure.

“The wizard sister must be looking for medicine.” Xiao Ye stretched his back straight, trying to make himself taller than Zhu Hao, but even sitting down, he was still half a head shorter than Zhu Hao. “The wizard sister plants and collects herbs all over the manor every day.”

Zhu Hao nodded thoughtfully, "Then, between the witch sister and the old witch grandfather, whose medical skills are more powerful?"

“Grandpa Wizard!” Xiaoxue answered loudly, leaning on the table.

The other two little ones nodded in unison.

The light in his eyes dimmed.

Xiaoxue noticed her dejected mood, got off the chair, and rested her head on Zhuhao's lap, her bright round eyes fixed on her. "Zhuhao, Zhuhao, don't be sad."

The red ear tips twitched in response.

Zhu felt a warmth in her heart, staring at her soft ears, and asked Xiao Ye, "Do you usually show your ears and tails? What if humans see them?"
