The living room lights are bright.
Zhu Hao lay quietly on the sofa, with a light pink blanket draped in front of her.
She suddenly felt her eyes were wet, as if someone was licking them with their tongue, and it hurt a little.
Zhu Hao frowned slightly, trying to open his eyes, but felt dizzy and his body was out of his control, as if his soul was floating in the air.
A cool breeze blew by, and she suddenly opened her eyes, only to see a huge white dog's head.
"Ah!" A short, sharp scream rang out, and Zhu Hao immediately propped herself up on the sofa.
The dog barked loudly, "Woof woof woof!"
It excitedly wagged its tail and shook its head, trying to snuggle into her arms.
She was stunned for a moment, not having time to pay attention to the dog, and her eyes darted around in a panic.
It was an unfamiliar environment.
A huge selfie is placed in the center of the living room.
It looked familiar, so I took a few more glances at it.
It was the Song Dynasty...
She became even more nervous!
What is this fox trying to do?
She remembered that before she fainted, she was discussing clothing details with Song Shang in the office. How did she end up here without any awareness?
"Woof woof woof!" When the big dog saw that Zhu Hao ignored him, it raised its front paws, pressed them on Zhu Hao's shoulders, and stuck out its big tongue to lick her face.
"Wangcai!" a stern voice snapped, "Get out of here!"
"Awoo~" Zhu Hao watched helplessly as the big dog, which had been so enthusiastic and excited just moments before, suddenly wilted, its ears drooping, its tail tucked between its legs, and jumped off the sofa.
Zhu Hao realized someone was coming and looked around.
She felt a sudden pressure on her shoulder and turned around abruptly to meet Song Shang's alluring face.
"Looking for me?" Song Shang raised his eyebrows and a gentle, harmless smile appeared on his lips.
Zhu Hao's eyes paused for a moment, then she immediately stepped back.
She anxiously patted her pockets.
"Looking for your phone?" As if by magic, Song Shang produced a phone from his previously empty fingertips.
Zhu Hao stared at him warily, biting her lower lip and remaining silent.
"Here you go." Song Shang tossed the phone up, and it flew in a perfect parabola before landing in Zhu Hao's arms.
She quickly tapped the screen, but there was no signal.
Zhu Hao's heart sank for a moment. While keeping an eye on Song Shang's movements, she quickly typed, "What are you going to do?"
"Why are you so nervous?" Song Shang walked around the sofa, approached Zhu Hao, narrowed his eyes, and stared intently at the screen of her phone. "But don't you think it's troublesome to type every time you talk to someone?"
Zhu Hao took two steps back, widening the distance between them. His dark eyes were full of accusation, and a cold, mechanical voice rang out, "This has nothing to do with you. Why did you bring me here?"
Song Shang raised an eyebrow, unconcerned by her deliberate distancing, and beckoned to the dog lying dejectedly in the corner of the living room, "Wangcai! Come here!"
The dog, which had been listless, suddenly wagged its tail happily and rushed to Song Shang's side, nuzzling its head into his palm.
Zhu Hao looked at the large white Samoyed, rubbed his fingertips together, took a big step back, looked towards the door, and was eager to run.
Song Shang noticed her subtle movements, and the smile on his lips widened. "You should know from Tang Song that I am a fox clan shaman."
Zhu Hao bit her lower lip, staring at him silently, still not understanding what he meant.
Song Shang leaned back on the sofa, leisurely crossing his legs, stroking the dog's head with one hand and resting the other on his knee, his fingertips lightly tapping.
Despite wearing a gray, casual home outfit, he exuded the aura of a courtesan, the kind who sells her art but not her body.
Zhu Hao paused for a moment, then said, "I know."
"Hmm." Song Shang nodded slightly in approval. "Then you should also know that the wizards of every race have healing abilities."
Zhu Hao looked at him with a puzzled expression, tilted her head slightly, and her bangs spread out due to gravity, revealing her smooth forehead and her bright, grape-like black eyes.
Song Shang's eyes flickered, his heart skipped a beat, and he chuckled softly at her bewildered expression, "What? Don't you understand?"
“What I mean is, I can cure your deafness and muteness,” Song Shang explained patiently, “faster and more effective than the wolf clan’s shamans.”
I paused to offer my best wishes, without being overjoyed.
No one gives unconditionally; Song Shang must have something he wants to take from her.
Zhu Hao replied with a serious expression, "No need."
"Why not?" Song Shang straightened up, a look of doubt on his face for the first time. "I know you're eager to get better quickly, aren't you? I'm very capable; you can try me first."
Song Shang's voice lowered, as if floating in the air, filled with an alluring aura, "I can cure your illness within a month, aren't you tempted?"
Zhu Hao's eyes were unfocused, his hand holding the phone slowly fell, his face blank, and he silently repeated, "Cure..."
Seeing her like this, Song Shang's lips curled up slightly, a smug look on his face. He got up and walked closer to Zhu Hao, continuing to tempt her, "Yes, it can be cured. You'll be just like a normal person, able to hear and speak in complete sentences, unlike now, where you just utter one word at a time."
Zhu Hao's pupils constricted, her eyelashes trembled slightly, her breathing became rapid, and her fair face flushed with excitement.
Song Shang stopped a meter away from her, bent down slightly, and lined up with her.
The moment their eyes met, Song Shang could even see the fine downy hairs on her face.
His prominent Adam's apple bobbed slightly, his voice became hoarse, and his tone was ambiguous, "Want treatment?"
Best wishes. His gaze was unfocused, and he nodded stiffly like a wooden doll.
Song Shang's smile widened, and he moved even closer. Their breaths mingled, far exceeding the normal social distance.
He lowered his voice, "But treatment requires a consultation fee."
The tone was like coaxing a child, with a hint of teasing.
Zhu Hao's little face scrunched up noticeably, and a look of defiance flashed in her eyes.
Song Shang's face stiffened; this was a phenomenon that was about to break through his control.
His eyes trembled slightly as he straightened up. "Wangcai!"
"Woof woof!" Wangcai quickly darted up to the second floor, then rushed down with a pink cat toy in its mouth.
Song Shang, holding a magic staff, cast a secret spell on Zhu Hao.
Zhu Hao's eyes trembled slightly as he felt the distant voices echoing in his mind, clearing his hazy thoughts considerably.
In her field of vision, Song Shang was holding a pink cat toy, her eyes closed, muttering something to herself, waving the cat toy above her head.
Zhu Hao froze, suddenly realizing that Song Shang was using a secret technique on her. Although she didn't know what the technique was, she instinctively tried to dodge, but her feet seemed to be glued to the ground, and she couldn't move an inch.
Song Shang suddenly opened his eyes, and when their eyes met, they were both stunned.
Zhu Hao stared at him nervously, swallowed hard, and parted her lips slightly.
Song Shang paused for a moment, then spoke first, "The consultation fee is... to personally sever all ties with the wolf clan and move away from them..."
"And... move to the fox clan!"
