As Zhu Hao walked out of the courtroom, watching Fang Ming's dejected figure, she subtly asked Tang Song beside her, "Just now, Fang Ling..."
"It wasn't me!" Tang Song retorted repeatedly. "I didn't do anything to her!"
[Damn it! I'm completely innocent! I only glanced at her twice in court! I didn't control her at all, who knows what this bitch did? She's determined to get the judge to give her a long sentence!]
Zhu Hao looked at Tang Song's hurried attempt to clarify with a smile, "I just wanted to say that Fang Ling seemed to have really gone crazy just now."
“I think so too. She looks like she’s really gone mad.” Geng Ying walked to Zhu Hao’s side with her takeout bag, hooked her arm around Zhu Hao’s arm, and whispered, “But ten years is too lenient for her. She should be sentenced to another ten or twenty years.”
I nodded and said "Best wishes."
Just as Geng Ying was about to continue chirping, she suddenly felt a sharp gaze above her head.
She slowly raised her eyes, met Tang Song's serious and upright expression, and was stunned for a moment.
She followed Tang Song's gaze downwards, which landed on the bag in her hand.
Inside, Song Shang lay on his back, fast asleep without a care in the world.
Geng Ying gave an awkward smile, silently hiding Song Shang behind her back, and hurriedly said goodbye to Zhu Hao, "I just remembered I haven't fed Wangcai yet, I'll be going now!"
Zhu Hao nodded, then remembered after seeing Geng Ying turn around, "Doesn't Wangcai know how to open dog food bags by itself?"
However, Geng Ying had already run far away and could not hear what she said.
Zhu Hao felt the rope on her wrist tighten; Tang Song was unhappy.
[Hmph! What are you looking at! What's so interesting about that stinky fox?! Cub, stop looking! Look at me! Look at me! Awooo!]
It all became clear in an instant why Geng Ying ran so fast just now.
She chuckled and casually took Tang Song's hand. "Let's go back. Didn't you say you had a surprise for me?"

Meanwhile, Fang Ming returned to the hospital in a daze.
Mr. and Mrs. Fang are out of danger and have been transferred to a regular ward.
Fang Ming was carrying the bone broth he had just bought and was about to open the door when the television in the ward was broadcasting Fang Ling's case. He subconsciously stopped what he was doing.
"Today is the first trial of the kidnapping case of rising star Fang Ling. The trial has now concluded. Let our reporter Li Yang provide on-site coverage."
"If I had known I would adopt such a useless thing, I should have just left her to fend for herself in the orphanage!" Fang's father's sharp criticism reached Fang Ming's ears. His condescending tone, which sounded like he was giving a handout, suddenly calmed Fang Ming's already chaotic thoughts.
"Yes, cough cough cough..." Fang's mother's voice was weak, "If it weren't for this woman, how could our son have been bewitched by her? He even dared to lay a hand on his parents!"
"Hmph! What son?!" Mr. Fang was furious. "That's a beast! What son would lay a knife on his parents?"
"He stole my recording chip behind my back and deleted all the backups. What kind of son is he? He's an enemy! Cough cough cough..." Mr. Fang's breathing became unsteady as he spoke.
"Sigh..." Fang's mother sighed, "In the end, we shouldn't have adopted Fang Ling. We should have adopted Zhu Haohao instead. I heard that Zhu Hao can speak and hear now, just like a normal person. It's a pity that I haven't seen her in good condition yet."
Mr. Fang calmed down, and the ward remained silent for a while.
“After we’re discharged, let’s go see Zhu, okay? Let’s be a real family again,” Mr. Fang suddenly suggested. “After all, she’s our own daughter; how can we hold a grudge overnight?”
"Yes..." Fang's mother echoed with a sigh.
Fang Ming gripped the door handle tighter and tighter.
His face was ashen, as if he hadn't rested in a long time, but his expression was unusually calm.
"Dad, Mom, I'm back." Fang Ming walked in slowly and placed the bone broth on the bedside table.
Mr. and Mrs. Fang were stunned for a moment, then looked at each other.
Fang's mother stroked the wrinkles in the quilt and asked tentatively, "Why are you back so soon?"
"I came straight here after the court hearing." Fang Ming took out two bowls, poured half a bowl of bone broth into each, and placed them in front of the bed. "Have some, it'll help you recover."
"Hmph!" Mr. Fang turned his head and said irritably, "What are you pretending for now? Who knows if there's poison in that soup?"
"Yes." Fang Ming stared at his father expressionlessly. "Would you like some?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Fang's mother, who was about to take the bowl, stopped in her tracks and her face turned pale.
"You unfilial son!!" Father Fang sat up straight, pointed at Fang Ming, and said angrily, "Cough cough cough! You unfilial son!"
Fang Ming looked intently at his wary biological parents, a sarcastic smile playing on his lips, before tilting his head back and gulping down both bowls of soup.
"Hey!" Just as Fang's mother was about to stop him, Fang Ming finished drinking and smashed the empty bowl on the ground with a thud.
The crisp sound was heart-stopping.
Looking at the broken porcelain shards on the ground, Fang's mother licked her lips, her hand secretly tapping on her phone under the covers.
Mr. Fang was so angry that his face turned red and he couldn't breathe.
He glared at Fang Ming, clutching his chest with one hand. "What are you going to do? Are you really going to kill your father and mother? You beast! Cough cough cough!"
Fang Ming's eyes darkened. "Don't you want to know the outcome of the trial?"
Fang's mother coaxed him, "Ah... what was the verdict on Xiaoling's trial?"
Fang Ming's gaze fell on Gu Yong's hand under her blanket. He moved his feet slightly, bent down, and easily stopped his mother from making the phone call.
"Ah!" Fang Ming's sudden approach startled Fang's mother, causing her to tremble and scream.
"Mom," Fang Ming suddenly laughed, "You were scared by me?"
Fang's mother swallowed hard and forced a smile. "How could that be?"
Fang Ming snatched the phone from her hand and glanced at the emergency call that had not yet been dialed on the screen.
He smiled, put his phone in his pocket, and said gently, "Mom, you're not a child anymore. Why do you still love playing on your phone so much? You should rest and recuperate now."
Fang Ming straightened up and glanced at his father, who was trying to move out of bed with difficulty but hadn't actually moved an inch.
"Dad," Fang Ming said, hands in his pockets, staring coldly at the respirator attached to his father, "you've become willful too?"
Mr. Fang froze, and before he could speak, Fang Ming snatched the phone he had hidden under his pillow.
"You!" Mr. Fang's eyes widened as he stared intently at Fang Ming, his lips trembling. "What are you going to do!?"
Fang Ming glanced down at the two trembling people on the hospital bed, then got up expressionlessly and locked the door from the inside.
With a click, the atmosphere in the ward became even more tense.
"I didn't do anything." Fang Ming pulled up a stool and sat between the two hospital beds.
He stared at the ventilator tube, then beckoned it with his index finger. "I just want to chat with you guys."
Fang's parents were lying down, unable to see his movements or understand what he meant. They could only look at each other, not daring to provoke Fang Ming, who seemed unusually strange at the moment.
"What are you talking about?" Fang's mother asked gently.
"Fang Ling... was ultimately sentenced to ten years." Fang Ming's eyes were vacant as he stared intently at the plug of the ventilator.
"Ah...ten years?" Fang's mother responded listlessly.
"Only ten years..." Mr. Fang rolled his eyes dismissively.
Fang Ming's eyes darkened, and he tightened his grip on the ventilator tube.
Snap...
The plugs controlling both sides of the ventilator were unplugged.
