"You!" A short, hoarse voice rang out.
Song Shang blinked calmly, puzzled but offering his best wishes.
Zhu Hao's eyes gradually became unfocused, and he stopped turning around to open the door.
"Best wishes!?" Tang Wu knocked on the door, his voice urgent.
He had just come downstairs when he heard Zhu Hao scream. He thought something had happened to her, so he rushed back upstairs, momentarily forgetting that she couldn't hear him.
I hesitated, wondering whether I should just remove the lock.
Click.
Just as he was about to start dismantling the door, Zhu Hao opened it from the inside.
Tang Wu looked anxious. "Are you alright? I heard you just now..."
Before she could finish speaking, Zhu Hao raised her hand and gestured, "I'm fine. I just accidentally kicked the corner of the bed, and it hurts a little."
"Let me see if I need to apply some medicine." Tang Wu took out a medicine box from his pocket and was about to squat down when Zhu Hao suddenly pulled him up.
The force was so great that he straightened up instantly.
When did you get so much strength?
Still reeling from the shock, Zhu Hao quickly gestured, "It's okay, I'm not hurt, no need."
Then, with a bang, the bedroom door slammed shut.
Tang Wu scratched the back of his head in confusion, stared at the closed door for a moment, and put the medicine box into his pocket.
Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the red mark on my wrist.
It was left when I helped him up right after I finished wishing him well.
Tang Wu felt uneasy; something seemed off.
Could it be that Zhu Hao's strength has increased so much from spending so much time with the wolf clan?
As he went downstairs, he finally realized what was wrong!
When I knocked on the door, Zhu Hao opened it very quickly.
But the key point is!
I hope you can't hear me!
In the past, it would have been impossible for them to react so quickly, or to come and open the door themselves!
Unless someone inside hears the knocking and asks Zhu Hao to open the door!
But right now, Tang Song, the only one who can enter Zhu Hao's bedroom, is outside catching that tiger!
Almost instantly, Tang Wu felt a chill run down his spine.
He dashed upstairs and, without hesitation, tore down the door to Zhu Hao's bedroom.
It was completely empty; there was no sign of Zhu Hao anywhere!
The windows were wide open, and the night wind made the white curtains sway gently.
"Chirp!!!" Tang Wu anxiously looked up and called to the wolf.
*
Under the cover of night.
A humanoid figure with nine tails swept past, cautiously carrying something in its arms.
Song Shang stared at the unconscious Zhu Hao in his arms, feeling a strange surge of satisfaction in his heart.
Tang Song is likely doomed tonight; he probably won't be coming back.
Best wishes, it's his now.
He tightened his arms to block the night wind and quickly leaped between buildings.

"Tsk, so annoying!" Li Hu, carrying Fang Ling, glared fiercely at Tang Song, who was catching up.
Tang Song stood on the rooftop, staring down at Li Hu, his body tense and silent, as if searching for the best attack position.
"Hey! Aren't you the king of the wolf clan? Why are you meddling in all this?!" Li Hu licked his sharp canine teeth and rubbed the back of his neck. "I advise you to be smart and not get entangled with me, otherwise... hehe... I'll rip your heart out and eat it!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Li Hu greedily licked his lips, staring intently at the location of Tang Song's heart.
"You injured one of my wolf clan's wolves. No matter where you run, I will catch you." Tang Song lifted his eyelids and slightly raised his hand.
"Tch!" Li Hu tossed his head dismissively. "Wolves can't beat tigers! Not even the wolf king! You idiot!"
Tang Song raised an eyebrow, unconcerned. "Give it a try?"
As soon as he finished speaking, he rushed towards Li Hu at an extremely fast speed.
Li Hu found Fang Ling in his hands an eyesore, so he simply threw her aside and focused on dealing with Tang Song.
In just ten minutes.
Li Hu grimaced as he fell to the ground, turning his head fiercely to glare at Tang Song, who was stepping on him. "Tch! You big black dog! What kind of sneak attack is this?!"
Tang Song, lacking patience, lifted him up and deftly severed his tiger tendon.
"Ah!!!" A shrill scream came from Li Hu's mouth.
Tang Song stared at him coldly, "A total of 24 people were killed, including six criminal police officers, and a wolf was injured."
"Pah! I only killed someone!" Li Hu said resentfully, his forehead covered in cold sweat. "What does it have to do with you!"
"At most, I only injured one wolf from your pack! But you actually severed my tiger tendon! That could have killed me!! You vicious black dog!!"
Tang Song didn't move an inch, but threw Li Hu to the ground with some disgust, and took out his phone to call the police.
“I originally wanted to punish you using the methods of the tribe, but you have done more evil in the human world. For the sake of human peace of mind, it is better to hand you over to humans.”
"You dog!" Li Hu was in so much pain he could hardly breathe, but he still continued to curse, "You're nothing but a dog! I heard you actually adopted an adult human! Aren't you just planning to raise him and eat him?! You put on that high and mighty act, I don't know who you're trying to fool!"
Tang Song's eyes darkened. He hung up the phone, stared down at Li Hu, and kicked him.
Li Hu was kicked away like trash and then fell heavily to the ground.
"Ah..." This time, Li Hu couldn't even utter a sound.
Tang Song exuded a cold and stern aura as he slowly walked towards Li Hu.
Li Hu suddenly burst out laughing, "Hahaha! I hit the nail on the head, didn't I? You're just like me, wanting to eat human hearts, but you're bound by the rules of being the wolf king, so you don't dare to eat them openly. You can only use what humans call emotions to keep that woman alive, waiting for her to willingly give up her heart for you, right? If she knew, she would... ah..."
Li Hu was kicked again.
On the rooftop, only the increasingly faint sobs could be heard, along with the indistinct shadows and fists.
From the very beginning, Fang Ling was thrown into a corner. She trembled all over, her eyelids twitched irregularly, her breathing became disordered, and she dared not move.
Police sirens sounded downstairs.
Tang Song stopped abruptly, staring at the dying Li Hu, and leaned down to threaten him fiercely in his ear, "She is not someone you can make up stories about!"
Thump!
Tang Song grabbed his hair and slammed his head hard against the ground before getting up and stopping.
Tang Song looked at the bloodstains on his body with disgust, his brows furrowing slightly. He caught a glimpse of Fang Ling wriggling like a caterpillar out of the corner of his eye and clicked his tongue impatiently.
Da da da...
Fang Ling heard the sound of leather shoes hitting the ground behind her, and she immediately closed her eyes.
She felt a heat on her neck and was lifted up.
"I didn't see anything! I didn't see anything! I didn't hear anything either!!" Fang Ling hurriedly begged for mercy, "Don't kill me! Don't kill me!"
Tang Song lowered his eyes, staring at the water droplets dripping from her skirt, his face full of disgust.
Scared to death?
So timid?
Noisy footsteps echoed from the stairwell.
Tang Song glanced back at the door on the rooftop, quickly grabbed Fang Ling and jumped to the rooftop of another building. He hid in the shadows and watched as Li Hu was arrested before leaving with Fang Ling.
On the way back to the manor, Fang Ling was completely stiff, her breathing grew weaker and weaker, as if she had been scared to death.
Tang Song stopped at the entrance of the manor and threw Fang Ling to the ground with a look of disgust.
"Wolf Lord!!" Tang Wu rushed out of the manor. "Something's wrong! Zhu Hao is missing!"
