Chapter 2 Then You Can Get Out

In the spacious and bright yet somewhat cold living room, Luo Jiuyu inadvertently caught a glimpse of Hua Meimei's expression.

That pale, paper-like appearance was completely different from his usual appearance. He couldn't help but ask casually, "Hua Meimei, why are you so pale?"

His tone was flat, just out of pure curiosity.

After all, although she was his wife in name only, they lived under the same roof but seemed like strangers. This sudden strangeness naturally made him a little confused.

Hua Meimei leaned one hand on the table, tilted her head slightly to one side, and had a hint of teasing in her eyes: "Oh, you still care about your wife?"

Her eyes wandered over Luo Jiuyu, and she secretly admitted in her heart that the man in front of her did have a strikingly handsome appearance.

He was tall and straight, and his black clothes made his tall figure with broad shoulders and narrow waist look cold and distant.

The deep eyes are like the cold stars twinkling in the night sky. Just one glance can make people's hearts flutter and fall into the endless depth.

Of course, his charm was infinite to other women, but Hua Meimei would not be crazy about him.

Men... I, who have experienced life and death, will not be easily infatuated.

Even though they had been married for a month, they hadn't slept together, hadn't eaten together, and the number of times they had spoken could be counted on one hand.

"I said our marriage doesn't count." Luo Jiuyu's voice was low and magnetic, with an invisible sense of oppression.

He meant to remind her not to cross the line.

The two people just treat each other as strangers.

"My stomach feels uncomfortable. Will you take me to the hospital?" Hua Meimei asked him with innocent eyes blinking.

"No." He looked at her coldly, without a trace of emotion in his eyes.

"If that's not the case, then why do you care whether I look pale or not?" Hua Meimei knew that he had no good intentions.

"I don't care about you." Luo Jiuyu denied it flatly.

"So you are curious about me?" Hua Meimei raised the corners of her mouth and smiled.

"It's impossible for me to be curious about you." Luo Jiuyu glanced at her. This woman is so shameless.

"Then you can go away." Hua Meimei smiled and waved at him, looking relaxed.

A hint of surprise flashed across Luo Jiuyu's eyes, and a hint of anger appeared on his face. He secretly wondered why this woman was so abnormal today and dared to speak to him like this?

"Are you trying to say that this is your home and I should be the one to leave?" Hua Meimei took the initiative and didn't give him the chance to lose his temper.

He curled his lips and snorted coldly from his throat.

The expression on his face said: Just so you know.

Hua Meimei continued, "Don't forget, it was your grandfather who arranged for me to marry you. If you want to get rid of me, you have to get your grandfather's consent. Be careful, I will run to your grandfather and cry about your evil deeds to me. What do you think your grandfather will blame you for?"

Luo Jiuyu was so angry that he lowered his voice, "Hua Meimei, you are very presumptuous today."

"Anyway, if I marry you, the Hua family's 30 million in goods payment will be offset. I don't owe you anything, and I can divorce you at any time. Now you want to force me to be your wife and put on a show for your elders. You need me for something, and you owe me. Please be polite to me in the future, understand?"

Hua Meimei talked a lot at once and felt thirsty, so she got up to pour a glass of water.

Gululu drank a cup in one breath and then poured another one.

She even drank water so unrestrainedly, how could she be the lady she used to be? Luo Jiuyu thought that maybe she couldn't pretend anymore and had to reveal her true colors.

He sat down on the chair opposite her and said, "Tell me, what evil things do you want to tell my grandfather about that I did to you?"
