Seeing something like that in the middle of the night would really scare a person to death. The two young people were so frightened that they screamed, and the screams could probably be heard for miles around.
The older brother remained relatively calm, and after a brief moment of panic, he realized it was all a charade. But no one gave him a chance to react.
The man facing Huang Yiyi's grotesque face was already paralyzed with fear, so she didn't need to lift a finger. Instead, she turned the stun gun on the henchman standing on the other side. Cheng Zhi hated that kind of look the most, but she didn't think beating them up would vent her anger. Instead, she pulled Xiao Feiran toward their mother's room, saying, "Let's go see if the old lady is alright, but I don't think she's doing too well."
When the eldest brother heard that Cheng Zhi was going to find their mother, he became even more agitated, fearing that she would hurt their mother.
Cheng Zhi was the kind of person who knew how to stab someone in the heart. She knew how important this mother was to the three brothers. "How you treat us is how we'll treat your mother. Let's give your mother some medicine so she can sleep a little longer, okay?"

This is what you call turning the tables on someone else. The two men were almost laughing in anger when they heard the old woman say that.
Xiao Feiran squatted down and pointed her thumb at the room where they lived. "Old woman, are you kidding me? If we hadn't given you the medicine, you would have died long ago. And it's one thing for you and your son not to repay our kindness, but you even poisoned us. Who will be punished by heaven?"
They thought that after all that, the old woman would have nothing to say in her argument, but they never expected that this old woman was so capable of turning black into white.
Her finger was almost poking Xiao Feiran's nose, her withered face filled with disgust. "Hmph, so what if you're given medicine? You young girls are already messing around with men and women at such a young age. It's your good fortune that our family is willing to marry people like you who don't know any better."
These words seemed to come out of nowhere, leaving Cheng Zhi and Xiao Feiran completely bewildered. They had only been in this village for a few hours, so how could they have guessed that the two were having an affair? But that wasn't the point.
Xiao Feiran angrily flung the old woman's hand aside, no longer wanting to say anything. He stood up and looked at Cheng Zhi, "What should we do?"
Cheng Zhi looked at the old woman on the ground, who was only wearing a thin jacket. With her health, she wouldn't need them to do anything; the old woman would die on her own overnight. However, just to be on the safe side, they still took some measures.
The two men laboriously tied the old woman's hands and feet, then taped her mouth shut, and finally extinguished the stove and opened all the doors and windows.
In no time, the old lady's hands and feet were numb from the cold. She looked at the two little girls in front of her in horror, as if she was begging for mercy.
Cheng Zhi wasn't buying it. "You stay here and watch the other side. I'll go over and strip your son naked too, so you can see him bleeding to death. I'm letting you and your son see each other one last time. This is your blessing."
