Chapter 110 Unreasonable Argument

I'm already annoyed when I wake up early, and then I hear this kind of baseless nonsense.

Since a confrontation was inevitable, Cheng Zhi simply kicked the door open. Before the people at the door could react, the two standing too close were slapped across the face by the door.

The two men fell over, and the villagers behind them screamed in alarm, some even dropping their umbrellas to help them up.

The white-bearded old man, who had been helped up, looked at the mud all over his legs and his face darkened. "You call yourself a city person? Your manners aren't even as good as Er Gouzi from the village entrance!"

Cheng Zhi sneered, "I don't know how high Er Gouzi's quality is, but you guys are definitely quite rude, gathering at the door early in the morning to slander and spread rumors."

These villagers, relying on their numbers, showed no shame whatsoever when their lies were exposed; instead, they tried to turn black into white.

They genuinely didn't hear what was being said, but they all put themselves on a moral high ground and started attacking them all at once.

Cheng Zhi and her group listened quietly for a while. They weren't very well-educated and just kept repeating the same two sentences.

"Go ahead and curse, but can you at least let us go?" Zheng Wan really wanted to go home and didn't have time to listen to their nagging.

The villagers were unhappy when they heard that they were leaving.

A plump middle-aged woman stepped forward, pointed her finger at them, and yelled, "You think you can run away after doing something bad? No way!"

Zhi knows this routine all too well; she's just trying to extort money from him.

Cheng Zhi didn't want to waste any more words, so she directly pulled out the knife. "Trying to pin the blame on us? Don't even think about it. Get out of the way while I'm in a good mood."

The plump woman, seeing Cheng Zhi's thin arms and legs, completely disregarded her words and even provocatively pushed Cheng Zhi's knife aside.

"Oh, who are you trying to scare? Little girl, you think you can do anything with a knife? Do you even know how to use it? You couldn't even cut a chicken's neck with this knife."

Hearing this, Xiao Feiran got angry and, without anyone noticing, pulled out a knife and silently held it to the fat woman's neck. "Try saying another word?"

After saying that, he used force to cut a faint bloodstain on the fat woman's neck.

This startled the plump woman quite a bit, and the villagers nearby began to exclaim in surprise again.

Those standing in front dared not say anything, but those behind, taking advantage of their distance, continued to chatter, "My God, what kind of people are they? It looks like the Xu family is already gone. Sigh, how did we run into these people?"

They were all hurling insults and accusations; these villagers were no different from bandits. They didn't want to listen and didn't care whose fault it was.

Qi Yanche and Chen Yi exchanged a glance, then stood in front of the crowd, trying to push through the throng to get out.

The men in front, who were a head shorter than Qi Yanche, were immediately displeased. After all, they were farmers and had some strength. They grabbed Qi Yanche by the collar and said, "Why are you hitting me? You think you can leave? No way! You're not leaving until this is settled!"

Finally getting to the point, Cheng Zhi stretched out her hands, "Isn't it obvious enough? We only brought one person with us, and we didn't bring any money or food."

Xiao Feiran, who was holding a knife to the fat woman's neck, said, "We don't have any, but don't you have plenty of fat meat in your village? Cut her up and eat her."

This casual remark terrified the fat aunt.

After that, they didn't care what the men or women said, regardless of whether they were male or female.

“We don’t want those things. Our village is short of people right now. You killed the Xu family members, so you have to come and replace them.”

The man spoke so casually, Cheng Zhi laughed twice, put the knife away, walked in front of the man, and slapped him across the face.

"In place of your mother."
