The three of them spent the afternoon bustling around in the space. Xiao Feiran and Huang Yiyi were in charge of cooking, while Cheng Zhi was mainly responsible for roasting the rabbit.
Squatting by the oven, Cheng Zhi smelled the aroma of cumin mixed with meat and swallowed hard. "I think it's ready."
Xiao Feiran, who was frantically stirring the food nearby, shook his head in denial, "If you want to get diarrhea, then that's fine."
Cheng Zhi pursed her lips, came over and divided the large bowl of stir-fried rabbit meat into plates, then covered them with plastic wrap and placed them on the dining table. Huang Yiyi, afraid they would forget, also left notes for Zheng Wan and Chen Siyu, reminding them to take it and eat it.
With the oven dinging and Xiao Feiran turning it off, Huang Yiyi jumped up from her chair, "Whoosh! It's done!"
Cheng Zhi put on gloves and carefully took out the roasted rabbit meat. The meat was still sizzling with oil and looked very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
"Very good, you succeeded on your first try." Xiao Feiran, standing to the side, was very satisfied.
They had been busy with this and that since they came in, and now that they had finished everything, a lot of time had passed. With lunchtime approaching, they quickly finished distributing the food and left the space.
Xiao Feiran and Cheng Zhi, however, encountered a problem: rabbit meat suddenly appeared, and they couldn't explain it to their parents.
Huang Yiyi, standing next to her, smiled and picked up two plates of food. "I started thinking about these rabbits a couple of days ago, so I caught two and took them out to raise. I said I found them at my doorstep, and now they've become food. Everything makes perfect sense."
Cheng Zhi and Huang Yiyi suddenly realized what was going on, and then went to the cage and randomly selected two lucky people to leave the space with them.
Pretend to raise it for half a day and then you can eat it, no problem.
Without further ado, the two of them left the space, put on masks and face shields, and stuffed the two rabbits into their arms, intending to pretend they had found them at the door.
Everything went very smoothly, and the two of them left home without incident. However, as soon as they stepped outside, they discovered a shadow on the stairs in front of their house.
Xiao Feiran immediately tensed up, pulled out a gun from his spatial storage, and quietly walked towards the unidentified object.
Gradually, she seemed to be able to see it clearly. It looked like a person, but he was motionless. When she got closer, she realized it was Zhou Lin, who had fallen into a coma.
Xiao Feiran immediately turned around and told Cheng Zhi the news. Cheng Zhi came over and patted Zhou Lin's face, but he still didn't move. The two of them had no choice but to drag him back home.
Once they were out of the fog, the two of them could finally see Zhou Lin's current state. He was only wearing a thin shirt, and his pockets had been turned inside out. Cheng Zhi reached out and touched him, and found a large bump on his head.
Cheng Zhi was quite shocked, "Were we robbed?"
It seems that this is the only reason. Xiao Feiran went to find Cheng Ye and asked him to come out and pick up two pieces of clothing for Zhou Lin.
Cheng Ye and the other two worked together to move Zhou Lin to the carpet in the living room and covered him with a blanket, hoping he would wake up soon.
Seeing his senior brother's demeanor, Cheng Ye silently reached out to check Zhou Lin's breath.
The two people next to him said, "...You're so polite."
After confirming that her senior brother was still alive, Cheng Ye was slightly relieved. "How did you run into him? You went out?!"
Cheng Ye immediately asked two questions in a row. Cheng Zhi paused for two seconds and explained that they heard a commotion at the door, so they went out and found two little rabbits, and also picked up Zhou Lin.
The story sounded absurd; Cheng Ye really didn't want to believe that she had found two little white rabbits and Zhou Lin as well.
But looking at Zhou Lin in front of him and the two little white rabbits that were thrashing around in his arms, it was all real.
When Cheng's parents heard the commotion and came out, they were shocked to find Zhou Lin unconscious in their home.
"My God, what happened to Zhou Lin? Did you two fight?!" Cheng's mother came over with great concern, squatted down next to Zhou Lin, and looked him over from all angles.
Cheng's father, who was standing nearby, also took two steps forward. He originally wanted to see what was wrong with Zhou Lin, but he was immediately attracted by the fluffy thing in Cheng Ye's arms.
The two little ones were tired from moving around, and nestled in Cheng Ye's arms, motionless as if they were not real.
Cheng's father looked at the rabbit, then gave Cheng Ye a very disapproving look. "Son, please don't do this."
Cheng Ye: "?!?!" It's a misunderstanding, Dad!
