Chapter 164 Xiao Feiran: Please, don't embarrass me.

Having successfully completed their first transaction, everyone's mood improved considerably.

Xiao Feiran tossed the bag of millet and two packets of noodles into her spatial storage behind Cheng Ye's back, a smile on her face. "We can have millet porridge tomorrow to change things up."

Cheng Zhi stood in front of the stall, clasping her hands together in prayer for more business. "God, I'm not greedy. Just give me a few more orders. Once we've made five, we'll pack up and go home."

At this moment, Cheng Ye noticed a man standing at the edge of the square, a little distance from their stall, looking in their direction.

Just as he was about to remind his two older sisters, the man strode over, stopped in front of their stall, glanced at the words on the whiteboard, and looked as if he wanted to say something but hesitated.

Seeing the man's slight shyness, Cheng Zhi gestured for Cheng Ye to strike up a conversation. Receiving the instruction, Cheng Ye adopted a friendly smile, "What would you like to buy, sir?"

The man opposite him coughed twice, leaned forward a little, and asked, "Ahem, do you sell men's underwear here?"

Cheng Ye didn't know what was in her two older sisters' suitcases, but following the normal logic, they shouldn't have any, so she subconsciously thought to say no.

Unexpectedly, Xiao Feiran beat him to it, "Yes! We have a very complete range of sizes, from L to 4XL. What size do you need? How many do you want?"

Surprised that there would be any, the man paused for a moment before saying, "Then I'll take three 2XLs, any color is fine, nothing too flashy."

Xiao Feiran agreed and went back to the car to get her things. While she was there, Cheng Zhi started negotiating the price with the man.

The man didn't have much rice or flour at home, so he pulled out a bag of spaghetti from his pocket. "Will this work? This is all I have left. It's still relatively fresh. If you'd like, I'll give you fifteen bags."

Cheng Zhi took it and saw that the date was indeed acceptable. Considering that it was similar to dried noodles, she agreed.

These three young people were the most reasonable sellers he had seen in the past few days; the man was almost in tears.

Having closed another deal, Cheng Zhi and Xiao Feiran looked at the spaghetti in their hands with great satisfaction, completely unaware of Cheng Ye's face falling to the ground beside them.

Seeing that her face was so dark and her two older sisters hadn't even noticed, Cheng Ye finally couldn't hold back any longer. She leaned forward and asked fiercely, "Aren't you two going to explain yourselves? Why are there men's underwear here?! Are you in love or are you perverts?"

"..." Cheng Zhi was almost taken aback. After realizing what was happening, she smacked Cheng Ye on the head. "Seriously? You're a minor, what business is it of yours? Whether I'm in a relationship or not, whether I'm a pervert or not, what does it have to do with you..."

Cheng Ye winced and covered the spot where he had been hit. "I'm your brother. I have the right to know what kind of person my brother-in-law is. You can talk about it, but you can't hide it from me."

Upon hearing this, Cheng Zhi burst out laughing, "Dude, wake up! None of us are dating, we're just selling things!"

All that could be heard was Cheng Ye, who wasn't in a relationship, taking a step back with her small stool and saying, "If she's not in love, then she's a pervert."

Cheng Zhi: "...Are you trying to force me to beat you up in the street?"

As Cheng Zhi spoke, she walked towards Cheng Ye. Seeing that the two were about to fight again, Xiao Feiran immediately stepped forward and wrapped her arms around Cheng Zhi's waist, saying with a pained expression, "I'm begging you, please don't fight in the street, don't do things that will make you look incredibly shameful!"

After much persuasion, the two finally calmed down. Xiao Feiran sat between them to prevent them from starting a fight again.

And so, while mediating the fight, they also sold their wares. They packed up and went home at nine o'clock in the evening.

Cheng Zhi was driving, and Cheng Ye was watching and learning from her.

Xiao Feiran could then focus on organizing the supplies she had acquired that night, taking them out of her spatial storage and arranging them in boxes so that Cheng's parents could see how much they had gained that night.

Everything was peaceful and serene until Cheng Zhi's shout shattered it all: "Holy crap! Xiao! Look at the sky!"

Xiao Feiran quickly pressed her face against the window and looked up at the sky. In an instant, light, like a green ribbon, shone into her eyes. She gasped in surprise, covering her mouth, unable to believe that what she was seeing was real.

Cheng Ye, in the passenger seat, pressed his face against the window. "Oh my god, I actually saw the aurora borealis! Am I dreaming?"

Cheng Zhi drove home as fast as she could. The three of them didn't care about anything else and got out of the car, staring blankly at the swaying beams of light in the sky.

After staring at the camera for what seemed like an eternity, Cheng Zhi finally pulled out her phone and tried to take a picture.

Perhaps Cheng's parents saw them from upstairs, and after getting dressed, they brought Liu Liu down with them. The family of five sat in front of the door, enjoying this rare and beautiful sight.

Cheng's mother snuggled up next to Cheng's father, saying, "It's very unusual that we're seeing the aurora here."

Hearing Cheng's mother say this, Cheng's father laughed, recalling all the things that had happened in the past few months, "Nothing has been normal in the past few months, I've almost come to regard the abnormal as normal."

They sat for a while longer, but it got too cold, so they went home.

After getting home, they quickly took a hot shower. They had been exposed to the cold wind since the afternoon, and their fingers felt numb.

After they came out of the shower, they came back to life. Cheng Zhi sat on the bed and looked at the photos she had just taken, still thinking they were beautiful.

Xiao Feiran, who was standing next to her, saw it and couldn't help but exclaim, "I've finally seen the aurora borealis in my life! I didn't even have to go abroad to see it, saving me a lot of money, hahaha..."

Cheng Zhi nodded in agreement, but after turning off her phone, she was a little worried. These happy days wouldn't last long, and the days ahead would only be more difficult.

While she was thinking about this, she was completely unaware of how serious her face looked. Seeing this, Xiao Feiran simply covered her with the blanket, saying, "Don't think about so many things! Go to sleep!"

After saying that, he turned off the light.

The room was plunged into darkness. Cheng Zhi took a breath and put her thoughts aside.
