Chapter 181 Dubai Tycoon and Pink Heart-Shaped Sunglasses

Cheng Zhi handed the tape to Cheng Ye, who was sitting opposite her, "Good brother, here's 50 for you, help me apply it."

He hadn't spent any money in ages, and Cheng Ye shook his head in refusal. "I can help you, but I don't want money." Cheng Zhi smiled and moved closer to him. "Then what do you want?"

Cheng Ye already had a plan in mind: "I want to eat the noodles you cook, the spaghetti bolognese from last time."

"That's a piece of cake," Cheng Zhi agreed without hesitation.

Upon hearing her sister's agreement, Cheng Ye took the tape and got up to walk towards Cheng Zhi's room.

As soon as he got up, there was a knock on their door. Cheng Ye stood up and turned to go to the door. He guessed it was probably Sister Yiyi. But when he looked through the peephole, he was so scared that he took two steps back.

Seeing his panic, Cheng Zhi thought there was a strange person outside, so she immediately went to Cheng Ye's side and stood in front of him to protect him.

She leaned out and looked through the peephole. No wonder Cheng Ye was alarmed; there was a person standing outside wearing a white robe and a veil, completely covered up, even wearing sunglasses.

Cheng Ye asked in a low voice, "What's going on? Have all our Arab friends fled here?"

Cheng Zhi tapped Cheng Ye's head dismissively, "Have you ever seen a genuine Arab wearing fluorescent pink heart-shaped sunglasses?"

The person outside was getting impatient and knocked twice more. "Cheng Zhi! Open the door for me! If you don't open it, I'm going to be blown away by the wind!"

Cheng Zhi immediately opened the door, and Huang Yiyi rushed in. After greeting her aunt and uncle, she started posing, "How about it? Isn't my outfit particularly Dubai-esque and luxurious!"

Hearing the commotion, Xiao Feiran came out of the room, shook her head, and took off her pink heart-shaped sunglasses. "No Dubai tycoon would wear plastic glasses that only cost 5.99 yuan from Pinduoduo. You're so unprofessional."

Cheng Zhi looked her over and finally pulled up a corner of the scarf. "Of all the things on her body, this is the only one that's somewhat useful for keeping out the sand. The rest are really useless."

Huang Yiyi was just joking around.

She dusted herself off in the entryway and handed the items to Cheng Zhi. “Right? Scarves are really useful. My mom bought a bunch for square dancing, but they were just sitting there unused. So I brought two up for you.”

Cheng Zhi took it and said thank you.

Cheng Ye watched from the side, sensing something was amiss. He glanced at his three older sisters and asked, "You...you're not planning to go out, are you?"

Cheng Ye's voice wasn't loud, but Cheng Zhi was still afraid that her parents would hear it, so she immediately glared back.

Huang Yiyi jumped up and put her arm around Cheng Ye's shoulder, whispering, "Since you've figured it out, then we sisters won't hide it from you. As long as you behave, we can consider taking you out with us."

Cheng Ye's eyes lit up immediately, and she made a shushing gesture to indicate that she would not talk nonsense and would definitely listen obediently.

Back in the room, Cheng Zhi collapsed onto the bed, burying her face in the blankets. "How could you agree to take him out? What if there's any danger? I'm afraid I can't protect him."

Huang Yiyi pulled out a chair and sat down, asking her question, "Does promising mean you have to bring him? Although I don't have any siblings, some of my classmates are tricked by their older brothers and sisters. Have you never tricked Cheng Ye?"

Cheng Zhi got out of bed, thought about it carefully, and then shook her head.

"No, not at all. Even though we bicker and fight every day, we almost always keep our promises to each other. I've never broken a promise to him."

Hearing this, Xiao Feiran exclaimed, "Wow, you're such a reliable older sister? I never expected that."

Cheng Zhi gave a haughty snort, "Don't underestimate me."

Huang Yiyi sat on the chair in a daze for a while, and Cheng Zhi poked her with a back scratcher before she came back to her senses.

"What are you thinking about? You seem so lost in thought." Cheng Zhi asked.

Huang Yiyi said, "I was just thinking that if I made a promise and we don't bring him, then it's just me going back on my word, not yours."

Unexpectedly, it was such a small matter. Cheng Zhi laughed and slapped her on the back. "You scared me. Is that all? It's fine whether you bring it or not. If you don't bring it, it can help us watch the house. If you bring it, consider it a training experience. Don't think too much about it. Cheng Ye is very sensible. He won't hold a grudge against you or me for such a small thing."
