Chapter 209 The Great Uncle's Family

They only felt a little bit more at ease after buying ten bottles of insecticide and ten packets of insecticide.

Since they couldn't get out anytime soon, they each went back to their rooms.

After returning to her room, Cheng Zhi suddenly remembered something important: "I forgot to ask the time!"

As Xiao Feiran combed her hair, she said, "I asked, and they said it would be about five or six days later."

Cheng Zhi calculated the time and said, "Doesn't that mean we only have two or three days to prepare it?"

Xiao Feiran tied her short hair into a small bun. "Yes, time is very tight."

Hearing Xiao Feiran say that, Cheng Zhi panicked slightly, but she quickly calmed down.

Seeing Cheng Zhi gradually regain her senses, Xiao Feiran felt much more at ease.

Suddenly, Cheng Ye knocked on their door. "Are you two awake? How come you can sleep so much?"

Cheng Zhi walked over and opened the door. "You'd better have something to say."

Cheng Ye stood at the door, puffing out her chest, "Of course I have something to do. I'm not like you, always looking for trouble!"

Xiao Feiran, who was still sitting at the table, was afraid that the two of them would start fighting again, so she immediately asked, "So what's wrong? Tell me."

Cheng Ye said, "There should be water and food in our parents' room, right?"

"Oh, so that's what you wanted to ask about." Cheng Zhi nodded very confidently. "Don't worry, there's food in some people's rooms. I boiled two or three pots of water yesterday. My parents like to drink hot water, so there are at least three thermos flasks in their room."

After learning that her parents had enough to eat and drink and were not hungry, Cheng Ye felt relieved.

After asking about the important things, Cheng Ye started to care about the trivial details, "What were you two doing just now? I knocked on the door for ages and you didn't answer me."

Cheng Zhi immediately adopted a mysterious air, "We're sleeping, but we're also thinking."

Xiao Feiran nodded in agreement and added a blunt statement, "We're thinking about what to do after this storm passes."

Cheng Ye didn't understand the implication at first, but after realizing it, she involuntarily took a step back. "Are we going to have to move again?"

He looked at his two older sisters, but Cheng Zhi didn't say anything.

Xiao Feiran, standing behind, raised an eyebrow. "Yes and no."

That's it.

Cheng Ye rubbed his face. "We've really been on the move lately."

Seeing Cheng Ye like this, Cheng Zhi originally wanted to comfort him, and the words were already on the tip of her tongue, but Cheng Ye came back to life on his own.

He clenched his fists and said, "The end of the world, it's normal!"

He didn't need to comfort her anymore; Cheng Zhi was quite relieved.

Perhaps feeling it was inconvenient to stand at the door talking, Cheng Ye went into their room and sat on the footstool of the bed.

The thought of moving to a new place again made Cheng Ye quite excited. "So where are we going next? The Northeast, the Northwest, or the Southwest? Or are we going abroad?"

The two older sisters: "..." Do you think we're going on a vacation?!

Cheng Zhi shook her head. "What you're thinking is too far ahead. We can't go there in a short time, so let's go to the city."

Upon hearing that it was just a trip to the city, Cheng Ye was visibly disappointed. "It's rare to have such a long vacation."

Xiao Feiran walked over and tapped Cheng Ye on the head. "Young man, think about survival first. We can talk about the trip later."

Between travel and survival, the latter is of course more important.

Cheng Ye asked, "So what is it this time? Is a tsunami about to sweep in?"

When he raised this question, Cheng Zhi's expression visibly darkened.

Xiao Feiran picked up a piece of bread from the table and handed it to him. "Have you had breakfast? We suggest you eat before you listen."

Cheng Ye had only just gotten up and, of course, hadn't eaten yet. He took the bread and swallowed it whole. "Can I talk now?"

Xiao Feiran took a deep breath and told him about the insect infestation.

Although Cheng Ye wasn't particularly afraid of insects, the thought of them flying over in large numbers and devouring people's flesh was still quite terrifying.

I have some physical discomfort, but not to the point of vomiting.

Cheng Zhi sat down on the bed at some point. She patted Cheng Ye's head and said, "As you know, I'm terrified of bugs. This time, we can only rely on you and Xiao."

Cheng Ye patted his chest confidently, "You can rest assured that I can handle things."

They were incredibly bored during the three days they were trapped in the room, and spent most of their time sleeping.

On the third night, when the wind subsided, Cheng Zhi mustered her courage and opened the door. This time, she wasn't blown away.

Cheng Zhi cheered, and everyone came out at the sound.

Without much time to worry about the mess, Cheng Zhi immediately called all four of them over.

After briefly explaining the situation to Zheng Wan, they were told to pack their things quickly so they could leave as soon as possible.

When her great-grandmother heard that they were going to the city to visit her great-uncle, she was quite shocked. "His place is just a small three-story building. How can he fit so many of you in there?"

Standing opposite her great-grandmother, Chen Siyu said, "We'll cram it in even if we can't fit it all in. We can't stay here any longer."

After saying that, Chen Siyu went to pack her things.

The great-grandmother originally wanted to say something more, but since the person had already gone far away, she didn't want to call her back.

While Chen Ma was cleaning up the trash in the yard, she said, "Grandma, don't worry, they will find a way to solve the accommodation problem."
