Cheng Zhi placed the chair between the two beds and sat down in the center position.
This was the first time Xiao Feiran had turned on the TV since she arrived.
After the TV was connected to their own computer, they were able to watch it on a big screen.
The movie was found, so everyone took their places. Some people ate sunflower seeds, and some ate spicy snacks.
Cheng Zhi glanced at Huang Yiyi, "You better not spill any sunflower seed shells on my bed, or I'll definitely beat you up!"
Huang Yiyi hesitated for a moment, then finally gave up. She picked up the bag of crab roe seeds next to her and said, "I won't eat them. I'll just eat what's ready."
Just as the movie reached its climax, a storm arose at sea.
The captain steered the ship forward, striving to overcome each and every large wave.
Although they didn't see it very directly, they could still feel it, since the waves had already hit their balconies.
Looking at the waves crashing against the glass, Xiao Feiran felt a chill run down her spine for the first time.
Cheng Zhi would sometimes watch movies, sometimes look out onto the balcony, feeling as if she were actually there.
The movie ended quickly, and they turned off the TV and sat together on the balcony looking outside.
After watching for a while, Huang Yiyi covered her chest, "Phew, the more I watch, the scarier I get."
Xiao Feiran shared the same sentiment, "Perhaps this is the oppressive feeling that comes from the sea."
Cheng Zhi unconsciously took a step back. "That's why we're not supposed to wander around. If a wave comes, people will be swept away."
No sooner had they finished speaking than a wave crashed over them, throwing up two fish they didn't recognize, one big and one small, both struggling in the water.
Chen Siyu found it intriguing, so she took out her phone and started recording, intending to show it to her younger sister the next day.
After filming the fish, she turned the camera to herself and said, "It's September 25, 2024. The five of us are adrift at sea. Let's all say hello!"
The four people behind them were also very cooperative, squeezing in front of the camera and waving wildly.
Suddenly snapping out of her daze, Zheng Wan covered her face. "Chen Siyu, did you turn on a beauty filter after you took the picture of the fish?"
Chen Siyu immediately stopped recording and put her phone away, saying, "Of course not."
Cheng Zhi, who was squeezed at the front, closed her eyes in despair. "Give me your phone, or I'll throw you and your phone into the sea."
Chen Siyu refused, and the group immediately started fighting.
After the commotion subsided, the storm outside calmed down, and it was about time for everyone to go to sleep.
After they got back, Cheng Zhi immediately lay down and felt the gentle rhythm of the waves.
Seeing her lying stiffly on the bed, Xiao Feiran kindly reminded her, "You'd better cover yourself up quickly, or you'll catch a cold."
Cheng Zhi had already tucked the blanket under herself, and too lazy to move, she reached out to pull Xiao Feiran's blanket.
Xiao Feiran looked at her and shook his head. "Could you be any lazier?"
Despite being scolded, Cheng Zhi showed no remorse. She looked at Xiao Feiran and said, "Then can you give me your pillow too?"
"..."
She really dares to speak her mind.
Xiao Feiran wasn't going to hand her a pillow. She sat down directly and said, "Let me count for you. You just ate a bag of greasy spicy strips, half a bag of potato chips, crab roe seeds, and broad beans. And you still dare to lie down?"
Xiao Feiran has a knack for hitting people where it hurts, so Cheng Zhi immediately threw the blanket back at her.
Then he stood up and paced around the cabin, saying, "I'm not sleeping, okay? I'm going to walk all night, so you can't sleep either, I'll keep making noise."
Xiao Feiran didn't believe she could exercise all night. She continued to provoke Cheng Zhi, "Then keep it up! You don't need to exercise here. Go to the space and help Xiao Zhi plant those five acres of land. It's better for everyone this way. I can sleep, you can lose weight, and Xiao Zhi can get some rest."
Cheng Zhi couldn't help but applaud her, "You're really good at this! Killing three birds with one stone, and everyone can benefit from it."
The two of them bantered for a while, then both stopped.
Several storms arose at sea late at night, waking Cheng Zhi and the others up several times.
The next morning, while the two of them were still asleep, it was unusually lively outside.
The two of them came out wearing coats and happened to run into Huang Yiyi and Chen Siyu.
The four of them walked towards the source of the sound and found a large group of people gathered on the deck catching fish.
They were probably caught last night. They were all helping to put the fish into the basin. They said they would eat these fish for lunch and dinner.
When Cheng's parents saw them, they came over. "They've already caught them all over there, should we take them?"
Cheng Zhi immediately shook her head and refused. She said in a low voice, "Just think about it. There was that terrible rain a while ago, and there was also an infectious disease. This water is already incredibly dirty. Don't even touch it, let alone eat it."
They had actually anticipated that Cheng Zhi would say that, which is why they didn't touch those things right away.
The smell here was really strong, and Cheng Zhi couldn't stand it anymore, so she dragged Xiao Feiran back first.
On their way back, they encountered a captain who looked utterly exhausted.
Zoe probably hadn't slept all night; her eyes were all bruised, but she still smiled and greeted them when she saw them.
"Captain, you should go back and rest. Your body can't take this," Cheng Zhi said politely.
Zoe nodded and pointed ahead, "I'm going back now."
After saying that, they went their separate ways, but for safety reasons, Cheng Zhi went back and stopped the captain.
Cheng Zhi thought about the fish on the deck and said, "Zoe, you'd better not eat those fish. After everything that's happened, it's really hard to say whether they're safe to eat. Of course, if you think it's okay, then just pretend I didn't say anything."
