The car drove through the night; it was quite late, and there were hardly any other cars on the road.
After getting in the car, Cheng Ye didn't say much. Xiao Feiran would steal glances at him from time to time, feeling that something was off about him.
"If you're tired, why don't you go to the back row and take a nap?" Xiao Feiran said.
Cheng Ye shook her head, "I slept all day, so I'm not sleepy now."
Xiao Feiran, being straightforward, continued, "Then why do you look so tired? Is there a problem with your studies or are you feeling unwell?"
"I didn't..."
Cheng Ye had only said two words when Xiao Feiran interrupted him, "Don't say it's nothing, I'm not blind, I can see your face."
Looking at Xiao Feiran's confident profile, Cheng Ye was speechless.
He took a deep breath, turned his gaze to the window, and after a long time—so long that Xiao Feiran thought he had fallen asleep—he whispered:
"I think I've fallen for someone."
Cheng Ye's heart nearly jumped out of his chest when he said this.

It feels quite amazing; I didn't realize Cheng Ye had reached this age.
Xiao Feiran tapped the steering wheel lightly and asked, "Is she from your school? You can't catch up with her?"
Cheng Ye's eyes darted around, and she gave a vague "hmm," "I guess I can't win her over."
Something about that sounded off. Xiao Feiran glanced at him. "You're not going to sentence yourself to death before you've even taken any action, are you?"
Cheng Ye absentmindedly tugged at the hem of her clothes, "I haven't decided yet..."
Hearing this, Xiao Feiran nodded in agreement, "Then you need to think it over carefully. Your own feelings are more important than anything else. Otherwise, if you act rashly, you'll regret it later."
Seeing that Cheng Ye was still like this, Xiao Feiran directly reached out and frantically rubbed his head.

Xiao Feiran squeezed the hand warmer and said, "You're not bad-looking, and you're tall. If you play normally and treat that girl well, you should be able to win her over. What are you so worried about? Is the girl you like really that beautiful?"

As soon as I pushed open the door of the Tulou, there were two loud "bang" sounds, as if something had exploded.
Cheng Ye thought the house had collapsed due to its age, so he quickly shielded Xiao Feiran behind him and tried to see what was going on.
