After that, whenever there was a holiday with a reason, Shen Lingfeng would find an excuse to take Chen Siyu out to play.
On New Year's Eve, Chen Siyu was still working overtime.
Shen Lingfeng was almost asleep in his car when he heard someone knocking on his window.
He slowly rolled down the car window and whispered, "Manager Chen, if you don't leave work soon, this year will really be over."

Chen Siyu took out a tissue from her bag and wiped his eyes and mouth. "Okay, I'll order you a small bowl."
After finishing the wontons, her body warmed up, and Xiao Shanzhu was fully awake.
He looked left and right and finally found the clock in the shop. He breathed a sigh of relief after seeing the time.
Seeing his expression, Shen Lingfeng immediately said, "Don't worry, you didn't miss the fireworks. We'll go watch them later."
The fireworks show was held in the square next door. After the family finished eating, they put on scarves and gloves and headed there to digest.
Shen Lingfeng was genuinely worried about Xiao Shanzhu getting cold, so he bundled her up with gloves, a scarf, a hat, a mask, and a thick coat. As a result, Xiao Shanzhu gained a lot of weight.
Chen Siyu was overjoyed and took a bunch of pictures of the little bamboo shoots, exclaiming, "Hahahaha, the little bamboo shoots have turned into little potatoes!"
Xiao Shanzhu never minded these things. Even when called a little potato, he would happily stick the sticker on his mother's face, saying, "As long as Mommy likes it, being a little potato is fine too."
They arrived, and there were already quite a few people in the square. It took them a long time to find a place that wasn't too crowded.
Seeing that everyone else was holding balloons, Shen Lingfeng immediately went and got two for Chen Siyu and Xiao Shanzhu as well.
Holding the balloons and marker, Shen Lingfeng said, "The staff said we can write our wishes on them, and then release them at 12 o'clock."
Whether or not it will come true, you should make a wish if you can. Chen Siyu took the red one and started writing.
Shen Lingfeng squatted down and handed another light blue balloon to Xiao Shanzhu. "What is your wish, Xiao Shanzhu? Tell Daddy, and Daddy will write it down for you."
Unexpectedly, Xiao Shanzhu gently shook her head, took the pen from Shen Lingfeng's hand, and said, "Although I can't write yet, I can draw."
Since the child had said so, Shen Lingfeng naturally had to respect his wishes. He took the balloon, held it steady, and said, "Then you draw it. Dad will hold it for you."
With only a black marker, she couldn't draw anything too complicated, so Xiaoshanzhu finished the drawing in no time.
When Shen Lingfeng turned around, he saw that it was actually two big stick figures leading a small stick figure, and the small stick figure was holding a heart in its hands. He knew without asking what they were drawing.
Shen Lingfeng originally thought he would draw a car or a robot or something, but he didn't expect that what he drew would be so lovely.
He patted his son's head and said, "Your wish has already come true. Your mom and dad have always loved you and will always love you."

The little boy, who had just started kindergarten, wasn't very good at expressing these things, but Shen Lingfeng understood that his son hoped the two of them could love each other.
He hugged Xiaoshanzhu and patted his arm, replying softly, "Dad will try his best to make your wish come true."
As the countdown began, the New Year's bells rang, and fireworks lit up the black night sky.
Illuminated by the brilliant fireworks, Chen Siyu's face became even clearer. Amidst the clamor of the crowd, Shen Lingfeng shouted to Chen Siyu, "Happy New Year!"
Chen Siyu responded loudly, and Xiao Shanzhu stared in amazement at the fireworks.
On the way home after the show, both mother and son were exhausted. Chen Siyu hugged Xiaoshanzhu, and the two fell asleep soon after.
