The Empress Dowager was not to be outdone and refused to back down, saying, "If you insist on taking Yun'er away today, it will only be when I die. Yu Jingchen didn't speak, but instead looked at Nan Zhiyun.
"Come here," Yu Jingchen said in a somber tone.
Nan Zhiyun dared not, so she did not move for a moment.
"I summoned you!" This time, Yu Jingchen was enraged. Nan Zhiyun trembled in fear.
However, the next second... there was a loud crack.
The Empress Dowager stepped forward and slapped Yu Jingchen across the face.
Xinglai was so frightened that he immediately knelt down, and the other palace servants also knelt down. Nan Zhiyun was also shocked by the scene before her.

Then, a wicked smile curled at the corners of his mouth, revealing a hint of cruelty in his smile: "Guards, take Consort Nan back to He'an Palace."
"Emperor!" the Empress Dowager warned. Yu Jingchen paid no attention, watching as two palace maids approached to pull Nan Zhiyun away. The Empress Dowager went over, but was blocked, though she still held Nan Zhiyun's hand tightly.
Yu Jingchen looked at the two holding hands and personally stepped forward to pull them apart: "Send Consort Nan back to the palace. Without my order, she is not allowed to leave He'an Palace even a step."
Nan Zhiyun did not struggle, because struggling was useless, so she was simply taken away by the palace servants.
The Empress Dowager looked at Yu Jingchen: "What do you intend to do to Yun'er?"
"What does the Empress Dowager think?" Yu Jingchen seemed to be truly angry, his every move was exceptionally cold, and even his words were like ice.
