Chapter 354 Methods of Administering Medicine

Nan Zhiyun refused decisively, but would Yu Jingchen listen to her? Other things are one thing, but don't even think about this.

Yu Jingchen drank the medicine himself, then looked at Nan Zhiyun, who was puzzled.

Just as she was about to speak, Yu Jingchen leaned in and fed her the medicine mouth-to-mouth. Nan Zhiyun's eyes widened immediately.

A bitter taste filled her mouth. Nan Zhiyun tried to push Yu Jingchen away, and Yu Jingchen released her. After releasing her, he just stared at Nan Zhiyun and then saw her cover her mouth.

"Your Majesty..." Nan Zhiyun still found it hard to accept.

"Are you going to drink it yourself?" Yu Jingchen asked her.

Okay, this is a blatant threat! A brazen threat!!!

Nan Zhiyun picked up the medicine bowl and reluctantly drank it all. Good heavens, she almost vomited after drinking it.

"That's right, it's just medicine." Yu Jingchen was satisfied. He took the medicine bowl, and Nan Zhiyun, feeling dizzy and nauseous, naturally collapsed into Yu Jingchen's arms...

"Your Majesty..." Nan Zhiyun felt unwell.

"Shall I carry you out for a walk?" Yu Jingchen tried to ease her discomfort.

Nan Zhiyun nodded, and Yu Jingchen didn't hesitate for long before picking her up from his arms. Nan Zhiyun wrapped her arms around Yu Jingchen's neck and buried her head in his neck.

Yu Jingchen lifted her up with one hand, letting her sit on his arm, while supporting her waist with his other hand. He had someone bring a rabbit fur cloak to wrap Nan Zhiyun up warmly before carrying her out.

The air outside was alright, so coming out for some fresh air was a good thing. The gentle breeze made Nan Zhiyun feel a little better.

"Is it any better?" Yu Jingchen asked her.

"Dizzy," Nan Zhiyun replied.

"I see you've caught a chill. You haven't been resting well these past two days, and you were also frightened. You've been sweating a lot today, which is why you're sick," Yu Jingchen told her.

"It's all His Majesty's fault..." Nan Zhiyun can say these things now. Yu Jingchen smiled. It was indeed his fault.

"Yes, it's all my fault, it's all my fault." Yu Jingchen continued, following Nan Zhiyun's words.

"When will it get better?" Nan Zhiyun couldn't take it anymore.

"Take your medicine, get some rest, and eat your meals properly. You'll be fine tomorrow," Yu Jingchen comforted her, but Nan Zhiyun only listened.

"Is His Majesty going to court tomorrow?" Nan Zhiyun asked him.

"I'm afraid there's nothing I can go to tomorrow, so I won't bother. I'll stay with you, okay?" Yu Jingchen figured that given today's situation, the ministers definitely wouldn't be able to come tomorrow. Besides, as mentioned before, there would be a five-day suspension of court, and tomorrow was one more day.

"Want to take a walk around?" Yu Jingchen asked her.

"Am I very heavy? Is Your Majesty tired?" Although Nan Zhiyun felt comfortable, she still asked one more question.

"Yun'er is very light, so you should eat more in the future." Yu Jingchen leaned closer to Nan Zhiyun, their noses touching, very intimate, and Nan Zhiyun smiled happily.

“I ate a lot.” Nan Zhiyun tilted her head slightly. Yu Jingchen glanced at her, and then loosened his grip.

The sudden feeling of weightlessness made Nan Zhiyun scream "Ah!" in fright, but Yu Jingchen simply changed his position.
