With a slight movement of his hand, Yu Jingchen had someone pin Yu Yan down. The large group of people kneeling on the ground were likely to have a rough day.
"Your Majesty, that's all nonsense he's talking about. I don't even know him, and I didn't do it!" Yu Yan continued to resist.
Yu Jingchen slightly raised his finger and gave a look to the people below, and Yu Yan's mouth was gagged.

"Consort Jing told us to wait in the woods, saying that after seeing Consort Shu, we should pretend to be assassins and lead her to that forbidden area. So we deliberately made Consort Shu think there was an ambush set up for His Majesty ahead, leading her inside. Yu Jingchen's hands trembled with fear whenever he thought about how Nan Zhiyun had almost been attacked by wolves today. Afraid he wouldn't be able to control himself, he simply stopped looking at her.
"What else do you have to say?" Yu Jingchen looked at Yu Yan and removed the gag from her mouth.
"Your Majesty! I am innocent! I did not do it! What evidence do you have to prove that I ordered it?" Yu Yan questioned the man in black.
"I have evidence here," the man in black said, taking out a bag from his person and opening it.
"These were all given by Consort Jing, Your Majesty, please investigate!" The man in black held up the items.
The servants took the item and presented it to him. He took out the contents; it was a bag of gold, and the amount was considerable. He examined it carefully and noticed it bore the mark of the Prince Yu's residence.
“Your Majesty, it’s from the Prince Yu’s residence,” Xinglai replied after confirming.
"Impossible! Your Majesty, someone has framed me. I really didn't do it!" Yu Yan immediately became agitated, but Yu Jingchen didn't want to listen any further and wasted his time.
