For a moment, no one spoke in the room; the atmosphere was incredibly silent. Nan Zhiyun was starting to feel uneasy. She fidgeted with her feet and clenched her hands, trying to ease her tension.
Yu Jingchen was probably doing it on purpose, so he remained silent. He watched as Nan Zhiyun stood helplessly below. The little girl had just cried, so her eyes were still red, and she looked somewhat disheveled.
Coupled with her simple and plain outfit today, she looked truly pitiful.
